Triumph Trophy description

I've owned this bike for 13 years and have done a lot of work to it including numerous electrical upgrades. Anyone familiar with Lucas electrical design will appreciate this. It's a stock TR6C (single carburetor) with no frame modifications and has matching engine and frame serial numbers. The stainless steel fenders were stock with this model. It has TT exhaust pipes with fiber glass wrapped baffles. The top end has 1,700 miles on it. A Boyer electronic ignition is installed and supported by an upgraded Wassell high output stator and rotor, a Podtronics regulator/rectifier and an AGM battery which is always kept on a battery tender. All of which means the system has plenty of juice even at low RPMs when just riding around town and supports the upgraded Cibie halogen head lamp. The carburetor has been bored out and re-sleeved with a stainless steel body and has been recently rebuilt. Recently tuned, starts on first kick. Comes with various spare parts including the chain guard and seat rail which are currently removed. *The exact milage on this bike is unknown. I've simply listed what the rebuilt top end has on it as ebay requires this to be listed.

Motorcycle Freestyle Rider Ernie Vigil Puts Triumph’s Scrambler Through The Wringer [Video]

Wed, 21 Mar 2012

With its on/off-road tires, spoke wheels, high rise dual exhaust, protective fork gators and flat one-piece seat and handlebar, Triumph’s Scrambler evokes notions of a McQueen-esque go anywhere, do anything machine in a modern motorcycle. It’s probably safe to assume few Scrambler owners today put their retrofied rides to the test, seeing just how much abuse the 865cc parallel-Twin-powered Scrambler can take. However, in this Triumph North America video, freestyle rider Ernie Vigil (the video’s editor and co-creator) does what most Scrambler owners wish they were capable of with their new/old Trumpet.

Recall for 2010 Triumph Thunderbird

Mon, 16 May 2011

Triumph Motorcycles is starting a recall campaign on certain 2010 Thunderbird cruisers due to a problem with the front fender fasteners. On certain 2010 Triumph Thunderbirds, including some ABS-equipped units, the four screws on the front fender mounts may come loose. According to documents filed with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the plating used on the fender mounting included friction modifiers which are not compatible with the thread lock compound used on the screws.

Rain Forces Triumph Castrol Rocket Team To Look To Bonneville 2015

Tue, 30 Sep 2014

The past two weekends have produced more than three inches of rain and sad news for Bonneville land speed racing fans.Triumph has released it official statement regarding the announcement by Mike Cook’s Bonneville Shootout that the course will not be ready for its Triumph Castrol Rocket streamliner and others to make a 2014 FIM legal attempt at 400mph. This is not what you want to see the week before racing on the Bonneville Salt Flats. Photo courtesy Mike Cook’s Bonneville Shootout (landspeedevents.com) Mike Cook’s Bonneville Shootout streamliner runs were rescheduled for this weekend, October 4–5, after wet conditions earlier in the month prevented the runs on the long course required to run at these speeds.
