My partner and I just spent the last 6 months restoring and building a Cafe Racer. I have a clean clear California title. Bike has been on non-operational status since 10-08-1997.
Everything was touched, checked, cleaned, chromed, powdercoated, painted or replaced! Everything is beautifully done and customized. Few special things are hand built battery box, converted to 12v, BSA Side cover, new exhaust, new Tach, all new wiring, new tail light, new gas cap and parcel rack, spokes and brakes Re Chromed parts include: Kickstand, badges, Motor mounts, tach bracket, Rear brake arm, shifters and brake and kick levers, license plate bracket, fender support, front fender and a few more Powdercoated parts: Frame, battery box, misc brackets, some hardware, triple trees ALL the hardware that is not chrome has been zinc plated. Fri, 17 Jun 2011Two months ago I had a set of Bridgestone BT-016 Pro’s fitted to my Triumph Speed Triple. Before setting out on the new tyres, the Speed had covered 4000 miles. Now with just over 7000 on the clock the rear tyre is on the limit markers.
