 Up for auction is a 1969 Triumph TR 6 C. This bike has been restored. The bolts have been cad plated, Dunlop rims re chromed,Headlight has been re chromed, new fenders and exhaust. Black parts on the bike have been powder coated.The gas tank is a nos and this is the first time it ever had gas in it. The gas tank does have a few chips in the paint and scratches from sitting on a shelf for 47 years. The motor was completely rebuilt from bottom to top, by a Engine builder that is an expert in British Bike Restorations.  Bike runs, rides and stops as it should. Transmission shifts as it should. Comes with a Clear Michigan Title in my name. Look at all the photos and ask questions before bidding. Bike is for sale locally and I reserve the right to end the auction at any time. Bike is being sold as is with no guarantees implied. Winning Bidder is responsible for arranging and paying for shipping cost, Bike must be picked up within 14 days of auctions end. A thing of beauty?

The weather was pretty good over the weekend and I managed to get 500 miles in and become better acquainted with the Speed Triple. I’m still running it in but as it’s reputation suggest the bike doesn’t disappoint. There are some noticeable differences over most other naked bikes I’ve ridden, you could call them quirks, but i'll talk about those in a week or so.

The sportbike is powered by a 765cc three-cylinder engine that first debuted on the naked Street Triple and then became the standard for the Moto2 racing class. The equipment will include an Öhlins NIX30 inverted fork and a rear TTX monoshock, Brembo Stylema braking system, TFT instrument panel, tilting ABS and a drive mode select system.

One of the unsung heroes of the BSB paddock over the past few seasons, has to be 2010 Superstock 1000 runner up Glen Richards. A nasty tumble in at the Brands Hatch opener lead to four DNFs, but once back on track he pushed the dominant BMWs hard, finishing on the podium eight times. While many were trading their grannies to fund new S1000RRs, Richards kept the faith and rode the wheels off his Padgett’s Honda Fireblade.
