Triumph Trophy tech info
Triumph Trophy description
Scarce 1962 Triumph TR6 SS Trophy. Last year of the pre-unit Triumphs. Restored to excellent condition. Rebuilt motor and transmission. Approximately 380 miles since restoration. Runs perfectly. Starts first or second kick. Pictures tell the story. More invested in restoration than what I'm asking. Numbers matching. 12 volt battery system lights. Magneto engine. Just a very exceptional Triumph. I believe Steve McQueen used this model in The Great Escape. 1962 first year for the SS model.

Dainese is applying this same ideal to the moto world by once again offering its custom tailored services to North America. The tour, called Fitnet, will start this weekend and make its way to six locations throughout the country, finishing on October 19.
Speed Triple gets new boots
Tue, 18 May 2010Since the spark plug incident last month resulting in the premature demise of the factory fitted Metzlers, I’ve had to find some new rubber for the Speed Triple. With the Triumph’s punchy engine Commuting 1800 miles a month on motorways and city roads, I need something that will cover decent miles but also be up for some frequent country lane antics. With the BT023’s Bridgestone claim longer life with solid wet weather performance for touring riders whilst satisfying the demands of the keen sport bike riders.
Triumph TE-1: a breakthrough in the world of electric bikes or just another fairy tale?
Sat, 20 Mar 2021According to Triumph engineers, the fully ready-to-use TE-1 electric bike will weigh 220 kg, while it will be equipped with a 174 hp electric motor, and a 15 kWh batt ery will provide a cruising range of about 200 km. But the most important thing is not even these figures, but the charging speed: from 0 to 80% in just 20 minutes! This can already make even the most inveterate petrolheads turn their attention to "electric fellows".
