This is a 1978 5 speed matching numbers Tiger.
I owned this bike for more than 30 years and have imported it into the USA with my possessions when I emigrated to the USA a few years ago. A very reliable and fast bike. The bike has a recent top end rebuild, rebore, new pistons, rings etc. Recent front fork rebuild, new fluid etc. Mikuni 32 mm Carburetor, upgrade. Akront Aluminium rims Dunlop K70 tires, both good. Fiberglass side panels. (you can see the remains of a sticker on the right side panel, this is not damage to the panel). Stock down pipes with short mega mufflers. Single clock custom mount. Tomasselli 1/4 quick pull throttle. AP Racing front brake reservoir. Aluminium fenders. 6' USA spec headlight. Lucas taillight. Stainless steel custom handlebars. It has the original UK registration document and licence plate. I will supply the USA customs clearance 7501 form, to confirm it has cleared into the USA and all fees were payed etc. Also a written statement of facts to confirm all. Basically. like buying a bike from the UK but all the paperwork has been done. I am happy to work with a shipper of your choice. I hope you like it, good luck bidding! |

Triumph’s Wheel Bearing Recall Spreads to US for 2011-2012 Daytona 675, Street Triple and 2012 Thunderbird and Thunderbird Storm
Thu, 07 Feb 2013Earlier this week, we wrote about a recall in Canada for unapproved wheel bearings for the 2011-2012 Triumph Daytona 675 sportbike and its naked sibling the Street Triple. As expected, a similar recall has now been announced for the U.S., adding the Thunderbird and Thunderbird Storm cruisers to the campaign. The recall also affects the 2011-2012 Triumph Street Triple R but the Daytona 675R is not included in the recall.
New addition to the cat family
Tue, 02 Feb 2016Triumph has unveiled a new product called the Tiger Sport. The motorcycle received an inline 1050cc “triple”, installed on the latest generation of Speed Triple, an electronic “throttle”, a multi-level traction control, cruise control, ABS and a slipper clutch. There is no full specification yet, but it is known that the motorcycle will be produced in two color options: silver and black.

Photog’s Jason Critchell and Paul Barshon caught the action as Tor rocketed the machine around 3.506 km (2.179* Miles) of track. Luckily for us, some awesome shots were caught in the process.
