this is a Triumph T110 Tiger 1961 model, registered as a 1962 on its title vin# D90XX, MATCHING NUMBERS PRE UNIT. Restored 10 plus years ago by the second owner, who got it from the first owners wife after his passing, 1st owner was an Air Force serviceman who bought it in Europe and brought it to America, His name was John Coshman,  Second owners name was Norm A, restored it, Rebuilt motor all the way down to the sludge trap, 61-62 OPTION only TRANSMISSION "SLICKSHIFT" also rebuilt  [look it up, or ask the experts] very rare jewel. Paint is super think [ show a few slight chips maybe 4 if you look real hard] a few parts that are originally black have been chromed i.e. tail light license bracket, rear grab bars, front fender stay, and many nut and bolts, as well as original headers and mufflers have also been rechromed also it is a 12volt bike now. the horn seems stuck from sitting, Chrono Speedo, amp gauge, and all lights are in great working order. Triumph to celebrate 20th anniversary

TRIUMPH is celebrating its 20th anniversary since the relaunch of the brand, which takes place on Saturday September 18th at the Mallory Park race circuit in Leicestershire.A full programme of on and off track activities will be laid on, with on track activities including a round of the ‘Triumph Triple Challenge’, special invitation races featuring Triumph’s class-leading Street Triple and Daytona 675 motorcycles, plus shows from Triumph’s professional stunt riders.   Off-track, visitors will be able to view the latest range of Triumph motorcycles, together with a selection of some of the UK’s best customised Triumphs.  Key bikes from Triumph’s history will also be on display, as part of a unique exhibition exploring 20 years of Hinckley.  On top of this, there will be a host of opportunities for visitors to ride the latest line up of bikes from Triumph’s demonstration fleet, both on and off track, along with many other riding activities for visitors to enjoy. Triumph’s factory, situated eight miles from Mallory Park, will be open for event visitors to take a tour of the facility. The company has also promised a few exclusive surprises for fans making the trip to this special event and the party will carry on late into the night, with a full programme of live music planned.

Steve McQueen’s Von Dutch Customized Bikes to be Auctioned Tomorrow

Here’s an opportunity to own motorcycles associated with Steve McQueen and Von Dutch - need we say more? Get your credit cards out because tomorrow, January 9, 2014, will see a 1923 Indian Big Chief with Princess Sidecar owned by McQueen and fully restored by Von Dutch put on the auction block at the Bonhams Las Vegas Motorcycle Auction. Previously sold at the Steve McQueen Estate Sale in Las Vegas in 1984, the 74cu (1200cc) Indian is “capable of reaching speeds of 90mph.” If McQueen’s coolness factor isn’t enough, having the notoriety of Von Dutch’s restoration is the icing on the cake.
