Triumph THRUXTON description
2006 Triumph Thruxton
This bike has been completely redesigned and upgraded. I purchased the bike as a stock Thruxton about a year and a half ago with about original miles on it! Since then it has been completely transformed into the "Scruxton" due to its scrambler styling. Over $8,000 in new parts alone went into the build not including the original bike or any labor. This bike turns heads, rides great, and is one of a kind. I have all of the OEM take off parts stored away in labeled boxes. The new owner of the bike will also receive those parts. Wheels are original rims and were sent to BA MOTO for powder coating, new bearing, relacing and truing. BA MOTO also did the powder coating on the engine and clutch covers. The hubs and side covers are black. The rims and the cam cover are gun metallic gray and match the stripe on the tank. The bikes rides suprisingly well on the Continental TKC 80 Twinduro rubber. Ohlins Piggy Back Twin shocks sit on the rear while a Matris Suspension F15 Fork Cartridge Kit gave the front end improved handling. The suspension is adjustable. I weigh about 160 and the bike is set up for me currently. JVB Parts Include: Rear Fender Kit (frame modified for fitment), Seat, Front Fender, Headlight Kit, Side Covers (painted gun metallic gray but not currently on bike) Zard 2 into 1 Stainless Exhaust Motone Helmet lock and Billet Sprocket Cover Motozen Racing Lever Set Bella Corse Air Box Elimination Kit Triumph Sport Clip On Conversion Kit and Fork Gaiters British Customs Direct Mount Reservoir Kit, Rectifier Relocation Kit, Turn Signal Harness Biltwell Tracker 7/8" Handlebar with Biltwell Thruster Grips Joker Machine Shock Bolt Dress Up Kit Motogadget Tiny Speedo Ignition Relocation Bracket Free Spirits Rear Brake Caliper Relocation Bracket Skid Plate Black Cafe Oil Cap 17 T front sprocket Air Injection Removal Kit TPS removal kit Start Headlight Control Module The bike is in great shape. Seat has a few minor nicks on it and rear fender has minor chips. I have the paint codes for everything and they are custom colors. So much time and money has gone into the build of this one of a kind bike. Save the money of having one built and bid on this one! Buyers assumes responsibility for shipping or pickup. No Trades. Feel free to message me for more photos or with any questions. The bike is ready for a new home and I took it on one of its last rides today. It currently has 2996 miles and could have a few more when bidding ends. The bike is for sale locally and this listing can be removed at any point in time. |

Triumph Raced Virtually Everything In 2013 – Video
Thu, 24 Oct 2013You may not have realized it, but Triumph North America raced in everything from AMA road racing, AMA flat track, and FIM land speed racing in 2013. And because that wasn’t enough, it also teamed up with Ernie Vigil and Nick Apex to produce some of our favorite stunt riding videos, too. Couldn’t catch it all?
Jeremy Toye Wins 92nd Running Of Pikes Peak International Hill Climb
Mon, 30 Jun 2014On his first attempt at the Broadmoor Pikes Peak International Hill Climb, road racer Jeremy Toye set a record in the premiere Open Class to win the category aboard a 2015 Kawasaki ZX-10R, celebrating the 30th year of the legendary Ninja brand. Prior to setting foot on the hill, Toye was confident he could get among the class leaders, aiming to beat the outright Pikes Peak motorcycle record, which was set by Carlin Dunne in 2012 with a time of 9:52.819. While that record remains intact, Toye was able to set a time of 9:58.687 to win the Open Class, finishing 6sec ahead of his closest rival, Fabrice Lambert aboard a Ducati.
2014 Triumph America Horizon Revealed in CARB Documentation
Mon, 18 Mar 2013New documents released by the California Air Resources Board reveal the existence of a new model from Triumph to be called the America Horizon for the 2014 model year. As its name implies, the 2014 Triumph America Horizon will likely be based on the existing Triumph America (the 2012 America is pictured above with touring accessories as an illustration.) The CARB documents confirm it will use the same 865cc parallel-Twin engine as the America as well as the Bonneville, Scrambler, Thruxton and the Speedmaster. We predict a claimed output of 60hp at 6800rpm and 53 ft-lb.
