2008 Triumph Speedmaster on 2040-motos

Triumph Speedmaster description
Due to no time for riding, selling my low-mile and upgraded 2008 Triumph Speedmaster.
Long, low, chromed out and mean, the Speedmaster echoes the hot-rod cruiser theme but adds a very British spin with some classic Triumph parallel twin power. Built to be an engaging entry level bike that's also ideal for riders moving to their first big bike the Speedmaster has the zest and handling to keep experienced riders happy too. Everything about it is laid back and easy. The low rider look is a classic one reflecting the style of homebuilt hot-rods on both sides of the Atlantic. But the soul of any bike is its engine. And that's where the Speedmaster stands out even more, with an air-cooled twin that is steeped in Triumph's long and colourful heritage. All this means you have a highly capable motorcycle that has a great feel and delivers satisfying performance every single day. That's what makes it such good value for money. This bike has a book value of $4500. It comes with all genuine Triumph aftermarket accessories, included below: * Performance Exhaust. * Leather Saddle bags * Comfy passenger Seat * Sissy Bars Overall, this bike is in excellent conditions, always garage kept and never even rode in the rain. Has some nice accessories. Very low mileage. Also included, is a 3 times worn Triumph leather jacket (worth $300). Only item that will require replacement soon are the tires, not from wear, but from lack of riding! Also bike shows minor wear and tear |

Buddy Holly, Ariel Cyclone, 1958
Thu, 19 Apr 2012Above is some fantastic home movie footage of Buddy Holly and the Crickets messing around on motorbikes in 1958. The story behind the bikes in the video starts after Buddy Holly, Joe Mauldin and Jerry Allison came back from a successful tour in 1958, flush with cash. The trio decided to spend their rock and roll dollars on brand new motorcycles.
Triumph Speed - A City Tool
Thu, 29 Apr 2010The Triple and I have covered 2500 miles now and most of that has been commuting through London. Last year I was riding Kawasaki’s ZX-6R and the constant gear changing, braking and acceleration was taking its toll. After 5000 miles the Kwak was feeling loose, rough and generally hard to ride smoothly.
Triumph to Sponsor Jason DiSalvo Speed Academy
Wed, 18 Apr 2012Triumph Motorcycles has signed a sponsorship agreement with Jason DiSalvo‘s riding school. The 2011 Daytona 200 winner rides a Triumph Daytona 675R for the Latus Motors AMA Daytona Sportbike team so it’s no surprise the British manufacturer is sponsoring the Jason DiSalvo Speed Academy. DiSalvo also raced for Triumph-backed BE1 World Supersport team, and though he left the team on rather murky terms, DiSalvo and Triumph enjoy a strong working relationship.
