Triumph Speed Triple description

This bike is made for blasting twisty back roads or just cruising around town with your friends. I bought this bike new off the showroom from Indy Triumph, and it has been well cared for ever since. The bike has never been down or tipped over. It is mostly stock, but has aftermarket Triumph exhaust, custom tail tidy, carbon fiber tank pad, bar-end mirror, and a custom ECU tune. Michelin Pilot Power tires are about 80%, and I did a fresh oil change about 400 miles ago. Original stock parts (exhaust, mirrors & tail) go with it, and I will include the ECU tuning cable (cost me $300). Mileage is currently at 11,006 miles, but I still ride it some so that is subject to change. This bike has no problems whatsoever.

Wed, 11 Dec 2013

Two Triumph land speed bikes, the Gyronaut X-1 and the Castrol Rocket, will be on display at the New York Progressive International Motorcycle Show this weekend. Jason DiSalvo, pilot of the Castrol Rocket and winner of the 2011 Daytona 200 will also be in attendance to meet fans and talk about the project. The Gyronaut X-1 is the last Triumph motorcycle to hold the ultimate motorcycle land speed record. The X-1 first set the motorcycle land speed record in 1965 at 212.689mph, while its 1966 record at 245.667mph stood until 1970.
