Triumph Rocket III description
2009 R3 Classic for sale. Better Handling and Performance than a new one. I know, I bought a new roadster in 2013. Has 14k miles. at 10k miles got a major refit. $10k in upgrades at 1 time.(Paint, Performance, Suspension, tires , brakes ETC) The engine got a RAMAIR intake, Cat Delete, TOR cans, Powercommander 5 and was Dyno tuned to perfection. Suspension was upgraded with Progressive fork springs and HD Progessive shocks. This is my 2nd rocket build (the green one in the pics was my 1st) and what a improvement on an already great ride. Powder coated over 50 pieces, flat and gloss black. Gel touring seat and backrest, quick release bags, and windshield. I Wanted to keep it "Triumph" looking so I did a Reverse Factory looking Roadster paint job, and stock appearing exhaust. Rides and Runs even better than it looks. Buyer pays all shipping. $500 immediate deposit with Paypal. Final Payment due within 1 week of auctions end once payment arrangements are agreed on. $$$$$$$$$$$ Make an Offer$$$$$$$$$$$$ |

MPG or BHP?
Thu, 05 Jan 2012If you were a child of the seventies, you may remember Craig Vetter’s name from his previous work as a stylist (Triumph Hurricane) or his huge fairing business, Vetter Fairings. Since then, the 69 year-old industrial designer has become obsessed by fuel consumption - or rather highlighting how poor motorcycles are delivering impressive figures. He originally ran a series of fuel challenges in the eighties and now the economy has taken a nose dive, he has resurrected the competition, figuring that the time is now right to highlight these issues again. According to Vetter, three of every four American gallons of petrol is imported – reason enough to devote his time to raising awareness.
