Triumph Other description

1969 Triumph TR6. Rebuilt engine. Starts, runs, shifts like it should. In normal weather it can sit for weeks and it starts on first or second kick. Tickle the Amal and it lights right up. This bike was built to look like a rat bike or barn find. Nothing shiny or polished. 16” rear wheel laced to a ’62 hub. Hardtail has a 4" stretch with sprung solo seat. You almost wouldn’t know you were riding a hardtail. Triumph Daytona gas tank with the original faded, scratched paint. New Lobrow Customs rear fender rattle canned to match the old faded paint on the tank. Lowbrow Customs tail light. Bates style headlight. The bike has working headlight, high-low beam, tail light-brake light, even a horn and it all works. No electrical issues. Ready to ride as is or take it apart and treat it to some paint and chrome and you will have one gorgeous Bobber. It’s all there. Always draws a crowd at Bike Night. The bike currently has a clear, clean Pennsylvania "Reconstucted" title in my name and in hand along with up to date and current registration. Payment in U.S. funds only. $250.00 non-refundable deposit via Paypal with the rest within 7 days of auction end. Please do not bid unless you intend to complete the transaction. I reserve the right to end the auction early. Shipping is the responsibility of the winning bidder and I will assist in any way I can. The bike is sold “as is” without warranty. Please email me with any questions or concerns and thanks for looking.

Charge Up you iPhone While You Ride

Fri, 12 Feb 2010

Motorcyclists can now enjoy total freedom on the open road confident in the knowledge that their cell phones, GPS, MP3 players and latest generation of iPhone/iTouch devices will remain fully-charged and in-service for the duration of the ride thanks to Powerlets plug and play systems. “Our product line was inspired by personal experience and the realization that there were no worthwhile options for clean, reliable on-board power for cell phones, stereos and GPS devices,” says Powerlet Products founder Adam Bonislawaski. “Before we came on to the scene, riders would bust out the black tape and wire strippers and cut into their bike’s fragile wiring to tie-in a cheap cigar lighter to power their devices.
