Triumph Other tech info
Triumph Other description
WHOEVER WINS THIS AUCTION IS GOING TO GET A FANTASTIC DEAL I purchased the bike new in 2013 AS A Triumph America and have since customized it as follows: Bobbed rear fender. Single seat. Professionally powder coated wheels. Fitted Triumph Thruxton tank (had two small dents when purchased). Led turn signal lights. Side mounted license plate with led light. 17 tooth cog set (feels like a sixth gear). Tachometer with dual head mount for speedo. Custom exhaust with partial wrapped headers - sounds awesome. Norman Hyde custom intake bellmouth. Air intake box conversion. Air injection modified and blanked off. Norman Hyde handlebars. O2 sensor eliminator kit. I have the front fender, that can be fitted in minutes plus numerous other parts that were either originally fitted or purchased as after-market that I never used. All these parts plus a bike cover, will go with the bike. This bike has NEVER been in an accident or dropped This is a fast, smooth and comfortable bike that gets loads of looks and positive comments. I am only selling as I have to relocate to Alaska and cant take the bike with me. And as a no reserve auction, it will go to the highest bidder. I can deliver the bike for $50 to within 200 miles of Louisville KY. |

Q3 2013 US Motorcycle Sales Results
Fri, 01 Nov 2013Motorcycle and scooter sales in the U.S. in 2013 remain consistent with last year’s figures, according to data released by the Motorcycle Industry Council. Several manufacturers blamed poor weather for the poor start this year, and the rebounding sales in the third quarter helped to negate the slow sales from earlier in the year.
50th Anniversary Of The Great Escape To Be Celebrated With Electric Motorcycle
Wed, 26 Jun 2013July 4th marks the 50th anniversary of the iconic Steve McQueen film, “The Great Escape,” and to commemorate the golden anniversary of McQueen’s escape attempt from German forces during WWII, McQueen Motorcycle will unveil a special electric motorcycle, the Xscape. The Xscape is scheduled to be McQueen Motorcycle’s first production motorcycle, with cues to incorporate today’s technology and integrate “the history and design of tradition.” Details are scarce at this point, but considering McQueen rode a Triumph TR6 Trophy in the scene, it would be reasonable to expect similar styling. In fact, looking closely at the photo above will reveal wire wheels, most likely a nod to the vintage Triumph.
