Triumph Other description
Fresh from the barn (literally) after sitting for 5 years.
- Project bike. I cleaned the carbs and popped a fresh battery on it but have not attempted to start. Have drained engine oil and gas. Bike after sitting so long needs a thorough going over before starting in my opinion. Will leave that to next guy, as I unfortunately have too many projects and too little time. - Chopped/Bobbed with lots of tasty parts in the 70s - Kicks / turns over easy / has compression. Strong spark. - Rolls straight and smooth - Clicks easy thru all gears - Cables and levers (throttle, brakes) function smoothly - Front end operable but not rideable - seals are shot and forks won't hold fluid - Replacement t100 front wheel and all (or most?) of other t100 pieces to replace front end included: see last 2 pics - Michigan title signed over to me. I have not applied for an NC title and do not intend to - don't have time for DMV. |

New Triumph Touring Bike Spied!
Fri, 03 Dec 2010The lucrative touring segment will soon get a jolt when Triumph enters the market with a flourish. Spy photos from England’s Motor Cycle News show what looks to be a replacement for the Trophy touring model that bit the dust back in 2003. The bike is much larger than Triumph’s Sprint GT sport-tourer, promising a bigger, more powerful three-cylinder engine.

Recall for 2011 Triumph Tiger 800, 800XC Accessory Center Stands
Mon, 29 Aug 2011Triumph is recalling accessory center stands for the 2011 Tiger 800 and Tiger 800XC because of a defective return spring. According to documents released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the return springs on the accessory center stand for the Triumph Tiger 800 and 800XC may not always return to its original length, potentially leading to a loose center stand and a fracture in the spring wire. Riders may detect a rattling sound from the loose stand and in the case of a fractured spring, a scraping sound caused by the center stand dragging along the road.
