Triumph Other description

You are bidding on a custom built 1967 Triumph 650 hardtail bobber we built back in 2012. It has a New Jersey title. Dual carb engine was rebuilt from the bottom up and still runs strong. Charges good, starts, shifts, goes and stops as it should. Customer rode the bike around 1300 miles.. Speedo is showing a little over 1241 miles but speedo was installed a little while after it was completed.. Powder coated rims. Wassell Electronic ignition, Amal carbs. Powder coated frame and small parts. Hard tail is showing some age and has peeling from a lousy powder coat job (the company that used to do our coating closed shortly after this bike was built.. ) Factory Metal Works hard tail and oil tank. Harley Sportster forks with disc brake up front. Sinister seat, Barnett cables. Triumph slimline gas tank has one small chip in the center strip. Other than that paint is nice!  We use Haulbikes to ship. Bike can also be picked up at our shop here in Watertown, NY.. Please email or call with questions. Josh 315-783-3744 for serious inquires only..

Naked Speed Triple got an update! The super-charismatic Speed Triple first appeared in 1994 and was essentially a Daytona 900 sportbike without a fairing. The new device is presented in the S and RS versions, carries the former 1050 index, but can do something more than its predecessor.

Photog’s Jason Critchell and Paul Barshon caught the action as Tor rocketed the machine around 3.506 km (2.179* Miles) of track. Luckily for us, some awesome shots were caught in the process.

Triumph Tiger Explorer and Trophy SE Recalled for Throttle Position Sensor Error

Wed, 29 Jan 2014

Triumph is recalling a combined total of 2,800 units of the Tiger Explorer and Trophy SE due to a problem with the electronic control unit detecting the throttle position. According to documents released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the ECU’s detection threshold is set too tightly and it lacked proper signal filtering, causing it to prematurely detecting a deviation in the throttle butterfly position. The ECU would then activate the ride-by-wire system’s safety shutdown, closing the throttle butterly valve and cutting the fuel and ignition.
