This Triumph is in "as found" condition. I haven't cleaned it, I haven't really touched it except to add the kicker and make sure it turns over. The bike appears to have been modified for flat track use, but the bike is mostly original and everything on the bike appears to be in excellent condition and it's hard to believe that the bike was ever abused. Taking Best of Show in this year’s Calendar Bike Building Championship was Calin Senciac’s Imagine Vehicles International / ImagineVehicles.com motorsports fabrication shop with an incredible custom billet aluminum designed chassis built by Terry Ward and the shop crew, housing a legendary 1979 Honda CBX 1047cc air-cooled in-line 6-cylinder engine.

2012-2013 Triumph Speed Triple Transmission Recall Now Includes US
Fri, 31 May 2013As we expected, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has announced a recall for the 2012-2013 Triumph Speed Triple because the transmission may have been built with the wrong detent arm spring. A similar recall was announced for Canada earlier this month, so we knew it was a matter of time before the recall was announced for the U.S. market.
