Triumph Cornet description

You are bidding on a Rare Vintage 1952 Triumph Cornet (Made in Germany) and is very rare. This bike just won the prestigious  "2016 Bull City Rumble Best of Show" The Cornet has had a professional but mild restoration to retain most of its patina. The seat, tires and paint are very, very good, everything works, bike starts every time on first easy kick. This bike comes from a famous bike collector where it was in a museum and then inside my house in a controlled environment. Bike has been ridden up and down driveway only to keep everything running right, no highways miles-not tagged. A rare opportunity to own a German made Triumph and the 2016 Bull City Rumble Best of Show. You can see this motorcyle in the magazine  "Full Throttle" issue # 219. Thank you and bid well !!!

Here’s a picture of it ‘wedged’ in the back of our new Ford Wildtrak. The bad news is, it won’t arrive at our London office until Friday, patience Andy, patience.

Wisconsin’s premier motorcycle show, The Rockerbox Motofest, featuring an eclectic mix of Euro, Japanese and American vintage café racers, choppers, sport bikes, racing machines, super motos, scooters, and sidecars is making an official move for the future. Instead of its usual Milwaukee home, the event is making the trek 60 miles north to America’s national park of speed as part of  Road America’s American Historic Racing Motorcycle Association (AHRMA) Vintage Motorcycle Classic, June 6-8. The Rockerbox Motofest includes a ride-in bike show and competition showcasing the greatest in classic style, fresh customization, plus all that is unusual and incredible.

Speed Triple exhausts

Mon, 19 Apr 2010

The Speed Triple sounds quite throaty with the standard pipes, on the overrun it pops and farts to its heart content but it could be louder. Also standard pipes are usually quite heavy, on the Triple they weigh 9.3kg!!! Triumphs preferred exhaust manufacture is Arrow and they offer side and under seat options as official Triumph accessories.
