Bonneville Motorcycle Speed Trials Set for Aug. 23-28

For those who dream of speed, Bonneville is a must attend event. For six days, August 23–28, 2014, the collective eyes of speed freaks world-wide will be focused on the famed Utah salt flats as constructors and riders race for national and world records at the recently renamed Bonneville Motorcycle Speed Trials. Triumph to Mark 110th Anniversary with Special Edition Bonneville T100

Triumph will celebrate the 110th anniversary of the brand with a special edition version of the Bonneville T100. The current Hinckley-based Triumph Motorcycle company has only been around since 1984 but the original Triumph Engineering Co. first began producing motorcycles in 1902.

Triumph Reports 2011 Financial results

Triumph reported a 7% increase in unit sales and a 47.8% increase in operating profit for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2011. According to Triumph, the British manufacturer sold 48,684 units over the year, a 7% increase from the 45,501 units sold the previous year. Operating income totaled 22.3 million pounds (US$35.0 million), a large jump from the operating income of 15.1 million pounds (US$23.7 million) reported last year thanks to a more efficient use of working capital and reduced costs.
