Triumph Bonneville description
2009 Triumph Bonneville T100 Cream & Green with Gold Stripes
This 2009 Triumph Bonneville is in good mechanical condition and cosmetic condition, showing normal signs of use. The bike has been stored in a garage since I have owned it, which I bought used in August of 2011, with 4353mi. on it. The bike is complete and original as I bought it,(including the exhaust baffles), with only minor surface scratches to the plastic front fender, to the chrome on the rear plastic brake light, and a slight scratch on the gas tank. among the other normal signs of road wear. The left exhaust pipe does have a bit of rubber residue from the heal of my boot, which I have never been successful removing, but I have only tried Goof Off. I have had the bike serviced last season (4/19/12 with 8,027mi.)) at the local Triumph dealership here in Indianapolis which included normal oil change, new year brake pads, and the factory changed out the Cam Cover Seal under warranty due to a small and slow leak, typical for this model year, so I have read.
The bike is otherwise in very good condition, no major dings, dents, or abrasions. When traveling, the bike as moved in an enclosed trailer, so this bike has had limited exposure to the elements. The previous owner decided to "trim" the brake lever a bit, to accommodate his boot moving from the peg to the lever. I found that this creates a smooth transition, but I felt, too, that I should mention it here. Also, I had a leather key fob with the key when riding, which has created an area on the front fork which shows wear to the paint. In the series of photographs, the motorcycle is pictured without saddle bags, but are included with purchase. The bags are not leather, but rather a thick vinyl and in good condition showing normal wear. The right hand side bag brace does have a crack, but is an inexpensive replacement piece should you wish to use the bags. I have the original Triumph Owner's Manual, other pamphlets, and a nice Triumph document bag that will come with purchase.
I am not a anything more than someone who has enjoyed riding motorcycles as a hobby and I think I have listed all the details, but if you have any questions or concerns, please email me and I will do my best to help.
This motorcycle is being sold as-is where-is and buyer is responsible for pick-up or delivery, although, I am happy to help however I can. There is no warranty included. I am listing the bike on Craigslist, and other motorcycle websites, so I reserve the right to cancel this listing at any time.

5 Awesome Motorcycle Gift Ideas for those Pesky Teenagers
Sat, 13 Dec 2008Those darned teenagers and their troublesome ways could use some motorcycle-inspired gifts for the holidays. And although you may not understand the mind of a teenager, you can at least massage their brains a bit by imposing your motorcycle hobby onto them. Here are 5 awesome motorcycle gift ideas for pesky teenagers: Capcom’s MotoGP 08 Video Game Recommended Ages: Rated E for Everyone Who Has It: Anyone who sells video games should have it ( BestBuy for example ) How Much: $59.99 They’re not old enough yet to be speeding around a track at ridiculous speeds but at least they can pretend to be and MotoGP will put them in the riders seat.
New Stuff: Bridgestone BT-016 Pro's
Thu, 24 Mar 2011Well it was inevitable really, the gloriously sticky and not very durable Metzler Racetec K3's had seen their last mile on the Triumph. After being ripped through 2500 miles by the Speeds thumping 1050 Triple motor the rear had all but squared off. To replace them I’ve opted for Bridgestones new BT-16 Pro's because their previous incarnation had proved to offer supersport grip in the corners but also offer high mileage rates.
First Look: Alpinestars Bionic Neck Support
Tue, 02 Nov 2010I'm predominantly a road rider, so I haven't had much to do with neck braces, until now. I'm heading on the launch of the new Triumph Tiger 800 and there will be a session of light off-roading so I thought this would be a chance to try the Alpinestars Bionic Neck Support, mainly to see what it was like for day-to-day use. I hope I don't crash hard enough to test its protection qualities and I don't expect to be clearing any table tops either, but I'm curious to know how I get on with the BNS and whether it feels claustrophobic.
