Triumph Bonneville description

Selling my 2007 Triumph Bonneville T-100. To my knowledge this was the last model year that Triumph manufactured this bike with a carbed engine and I can tell you from experience that the Carb version is much livelier and spirited than the EFI models that I test road. This bike is in very good condition and has never been crashed or even tipped over (it's quite light, which is nice moving it around the garage). The bike has spent every single night indoors and has no rust at all. I have also just had new front and rear tires and tubes installed, new oil and filter, and the bike just passed it's NYS inspection.

I purchased this bike with aftermarket Triumph pipes (sounds great, not too loud though). The bike also has the retro tail light and turn signals installed and I purchased and installed the saddlebags which can be seen in the pictures provided. I have had absolutely no issues with this bike, in fact it has been my favorite motorcycle that I have owned to date and I have put 4,000 enjoyable miles on it in the two years I have owned it. I am only selling because I want to buy a classic car and try out that side of motor sports.

Please message me with any questions, I have nothing to hide and will happy to answer any questions. I would also consider delivering the bike or meeting you half-way if necessary for a reasonable rate. This bike is for sale locally as well and I will end this ad early if the bike sells.

Twin-Engined Triumph Rocket Streamliner To Challenge Motorcycle Land-Speed Record At Bonneville

Thu, 29 Aug 2013

The 1,000-horsepower Castrol Rocket is currently undergoing testing for its upcoming assault on the land speed record of 376.156 mph, set in 2010, by Rocky Robinson with the Ack Attack streamliner. The goal: a 400-mph-plus record-breaking run. The 25-foot long x 2-foot wide x 3-foot high streamliner was constructed in cooperation by Hot Rod Conspiracy and Carpenter Racing and will compete in the Division C (Streamlined) – Type V (5) Spark Ignition, Over 2,000cc to 3,000cc class. Powering the Rocket are two heavily modified Triumph Rocket III engines. Each Carpenter Racing built engine was reduced from 2,294cc to 1,485cc (2,970cc total) to meet the 3,000cc maximum total displacement class rule requirement. While piston size remains the same stock 4-inch bore, stroke was reduced from 3.75 inches to 2.4 inches and redline increased from 5,750 rpm to 9,000+ rpm. There’s also one Garrett GT2876R ball bearing, liquid-cooled turbocharger per engine.
