Triumph Bonneville description

1973 Triumph Bonneville 750 T140.

Bike was built over the winter a few years ago while waiting for another restoration project to creep along.

Bike has been rarely used as I am in the boat business so summers are busy.

Engine re-built by Hourglass Motorsports. Less than 500 miles on motor.

Used only to cruise around town.

Converted to a Single 34mm Mikuni/ MAP manifold.

Five Speed Gearbox, Carb Tuning by Rocky Mount Cycle

Cole Foster/Salinas Boyz Tank (chopped Sportster style).

Boyer Ignition guts and wiring are hidden inside re-pop 1945 Harley tool box.

New Battery, New Avon Speedmaster Front Tire, S/S Spokes on Black Powder Coated Wheels.

Chopper Shox Suspension. New Low Brow Customs TT Pipes (imported from England).

Bike needs nothing all though a mini speedometer would be nice to keep track of mileage...the speedo drive (new) is already installed.

I can assist with shipping with possible delivery  (East Coast only) for a small fee, of course.

Ride Safe.

Shipping to the lower 48 states only

I will take payment via Pay-Pal or wire transfer only.

Of course Buyer pays the shipping.

Castrol Rocket, Gyronaut X-1 and Jason DiSalvo at New York IMS

Wed, 11 Dec 2013

Two Triumph land speed bikes, the Gyronaut X-1 and the Castrol Rocket, will be on display at the New York Progressive International Motorcycle Show this weekend. Jason DiSalvo, pilot of the Castrol Rocket and winner of the 2011 Daytona 200 will also be in attendance to meet fans and talk about the project. The Gyronaut X-1 is the last Triumph motorcycle to hold the ultimate motorcycle land speed record. The X-1 first set the motorcycle land speed record in 1965 at 212.689mph, while its 1966 record at 245.667mph stood until 1970.

2013 Triumph Tiger Sport Announced

Thu, 10 Jan 2013

Triumph revealed a new version of its 1050cc Tiger named the Tiger Sport. Triumph currently lists this new Tiger Sport beside its Tiger 1050 on the Triumph website’s 2013 offerings but the new model appears to be a replacement for the previous model which has been relatively unchanged since its introduction in 2007. Officially unveiled at the Brussels Motor Show, the 2013 Triumph Tiger Sport receives new body panels, tail and windscreen but perhaps the most notable design change is the new single-sided swingarm which better shows off the black cast aluminum alloy multi-spoke rear wheel.

Vintage Bike Stash Found in Ohio

Mon, 05 Mar 2012

Brim’s Imports is a vintage motorcycle shop disguised as a used car dealership, and chances are you’ve never heard of the place or its proprietor, Tom Brim. If you’re in the market for a rare vintage motorcycle, however, it may behoove you to give Tom or his brother, Ralph, an old fashion phone call. A website does exist, brimsimport.com, but its for searching the inventory of late model car and truck parts — the cash flow supporting Tom’s motorcycle obsession.
