$4000 Refurbishing/Restoration done in 2003-2003 by Ron Jones @ Stark Triumph,Navarre, Ohio. Bike has been garaged & unstarted since 2005 but engine turned over w kick starter approx.every 3-6 weeks. Seller is not mechanically knowledgeable but known flaws are: oil leak, both carbs leak, torn left front fork rubber covering, discolored paint @ base of Tank's filler neck, small paint chip on underside of Tank. Triumph Reports 2011 Financial results
Thu, 01 Dec 2011Triumph reported a 7% increase in unit sales and a 47.8% increase in operating profit for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2011. According to Triumph, the British manufacturer sold 48,684 units over the year, a 7% increase from the 45,501 units sold the previous year. Operating income totaled 22.3 million pounds (US$35.0 million), a large jump from the operating income of 15.1 million pounds (US$23.7 million) reported last year thanks to a more efficient use of working capital and reduced costs.
Intermot 2012: 2013 Triumph Street Triple, Street Triple R Revealed
Tue, 02 Oct 2012Triumph has redesigned its Street Triple for 2013, revealing the updated 675cc naked bikes at the 2012 Intermot show in Cologne, Germany. 2013 Triumph Street Triple and the slightly more up-spec Street Triple R receive an all-new chassis featuring aluminum beam twin-spar frames and two-piece die-cast rear subframes. According to Triumph, the new chassis optimizes agility and handling with fewer welds than the previous frame and helping reduce the overall wet weight by 13 pounds to 403 pounds.
