Triumph Bonneville description

1969 Triumph Bonneville zero miles on complete rebuild. I am selling this motorcycle for the family of a deceased friend. It has been sitting since the rebuild was completed circa 2000.The engine was rebuilt by Collins Cycle and the rest of the bike has hundreds of new or rebuilt parts including but not limited to: paint job, seat, wheels, stainless spokes, tires and fenders. It also has a Boyer-Branson ignition and "Twin Hooter" horns. This is a beautiful running and looking motorcycle, but not a concours restoration. The original frame was bent and replaced with a 1967 TR6 frame. The original, correct frame, with numbers matching the engine comes with the bike. I believe the frame is repairable. The motorcycle has a clear Ohio title. Some other parts are incorrect. I do not think the mileage is correct.
Please look carefully at the photos. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me, Will by email or phone at 440-591-5099.

The motorcycle is located near Cleveland, Ohio and is sold as-is, where-is with no warranty, either explicit or implied.

$500 deposit within 24 hours of the end of the sale. Full payment due in one week.

I reserve the right to end the auction early.

Akrapovic full system for Triumph Daytona 675

Tue, 28 Jun 2011

From Akrapovic is a new full system for the Triumph 675 Daytona: After extensive research and development with the Smiths (Gloucester) Racing team, Akrapovic have now launched a full system for the popular 675 Daytona. Although the bike has been available since 2006 Akrapovic have only ever offered a slip-on silencer option, electing not to develop a full racing system for this bike. However, after unprecedented demand from the WSS and BSS paddock for racing products the decision was made to develop a full racing system in a modular format that allows the headers to be added to existing customer’s slip-on kits.

2010 Triumph Rocket III Roadster [video]

Wed, 07 Oct 2009

Over the past few model years Triumph strove to create some sense of how the Rocket can be used, eventually creating a touring-friendly model with windscreen and saddlebags as standard, called the Rocket III Touring. Then came the Rocket III Classic. More pulled back handlebars, floorboards rather than pegs, and two-tone paint helped define the powerful motorcycle as something appealing to the cruiser crowd.

Twin-Engined Triumph Rocket Streamliner To Challenge Motorcycle Land-Speed Record At Bonneville

Thu, 29 Aug 2013

The 1,000-horsepower Castrol Rocket is currently undergoing testing for its upcoming assault on the land speed record of 376.156 mph, set in 2010, by Rocky Robinson with the Ack Attack streamliner. The goal: a 400-mph-plus record-breaking run. The 25-foot long x 2-foot wide x 3-foot high streamliner was constructed in cooperation by Hot Rod Conspiracy and Carpenter Racing and will compete in the Division C (Streamlined) – Type V (5) Spark Ignition, Over 2,000cc to 3,000cc class. Powering the Rocket are two heavily modified Triumph Rocket III engines. Each Carpenter Racing built engine was reduced from 2,294cc to 1,485cc (2,970cc total) to meet the 3,000cc maximum total displacement class rule requirement. While piston size remains the same stock 4-inch bore, stroke was reduced from 3.75 inches to 2.4 inches and redline increased from 5,750 rpm to 9,000+ rpm. There’s also one Garrett GT2876R ball bearing, liquid-cooled turbocharger per engine.
