1967 Triumph Bonnivlle Bobber .... Custom Build on 2040-motos
Triumph Bonneville tech info
Triumph Bonneville description
967 Triumph Bonneville Custom Bobber.
The bike had a little over 8k miles before the build and less than 250 miles
since completion. The motor has been professionally rebuilt from the sludge
trap up including new bearings, seals and .02 over pistons and bore. New 930
Amal carbs were also installed at time of build. The custom hard tail was built
by Elswick cycles and has a 6” stretch and 2” drop. I am including a custom
aluminum rear fender specifically made for the wheel and tire combination. Upgraded the front wheel to the twin leading shoe of the 69 series for better
braking. Front forks have been totally rebuilt with new tubes, seals, and
bushings. Tank has been steam cleaned and epoxy coated. Wires are clean and
neat with a “through frame” installation. Other features include a custom
battery box, Larosa deep leather seat, custom headlight and may other small
custom details. There are a lot of hours into this build and it rides very nice
and looks great. 250 break in miles have just been completed and valves
readjusted and head re torqued. The bike does not leak from sitting and push-rod tubes nice
and dry.
Buyer is responsible for engine pickup or shipping. Have plastic padded bin with straps for shipping, no additional charge.
Weight 133lbs - Bin Dimensions 22h X 19w X 21d

The Triple's ready, three days early!
Wed, 24 Mar 2010Mark Forsyth returned our Bonneville long termer today, and the Speed Triple was ready at the triumph factory to be brought back with him…three days early. Here’s a picture of it ‘wedged’ in the back of our new Ford Wildtrak. The bad news is, it won’t arrive at our London office until Friday, patience Andy, patience.
Tested: Bridgestone BT-016 Pro's
Fri, 17 Jun 2011Two months ago I had a set of Bridgestone BT-016 Pro’s fitted to my Triumph Speed Triple. Before setting out on the new tyres, the Speed had covered 4000 miles. Now with just over 7000 on the clock the rear tyre is on the limit markers.
