Triumph 500 5T Speed Twin description

Quite nice, unrestored (or restored some time ago) 1948 Triumph twin.  Bought from the Ed Brooks estate in 2011.  Raber's did quite a bit of work to the inside of the engine and trans, which sadly wasn't quite as nice as the exterior.  It runs and rides now as it should, though I find it a bit undergeared  If I end up keeping it, a change of crankshaft sprocket will be in order.

Clean California title, no issues.  I will assist with shipping details but will not crate.  Shipping otherwise the responsibility of the buyer.  Price negotiable.

Interested parties can call four zero eight three one six seven two zero five.  Thanks for looking.

How well does a Triumph Tiger 800 crash?

Mon, 08 Nov 2010

I've just come back to the hotel after our first day riding the Tiger 800 with the other Brit journos. One of the journos (who shall remain nameless, but alas, it wasn't me) crashed at low speed. Pictured here is his bike.
