For Sale: a 1976 Suzuki GT 550 with 11,800 original miles. It is ALL original in excellent condition. Starts and runs great -- electric and kick start. Awesome two-stroke power. Paint is great, chrome is great. New tires, chain and battery. Was in dry storage for over 30 years. Registered 'til 2017. Also, comes with original Owner's Manual. Nice collector's bike. The Yamaha Jubilo rugby club competes in the Top League, the highest level Japanese Rugby Football Union pro league. The team currently sits fifth out of 14 teams with a 3-2-2 record with a roster of 17 professional players including nine non-Japanese imports.
45,367 Motorcycle Thefts Reported in US in 2013
Tue, 10 Jun 2014Americans reported 45,367 stolen motorcycles in 2013, down 1.5% from 2012, reports the National Insurance Crime Bureau‘s latest Motorcycle Theft and Recovery Report. According to the NICB motorcycle thefts have been on the decline every year since 2007 when 65,678 motorcycles were reported stolen, though the overall trend appears to be leveling off. Japanese motorcycles continue to be the most popular target for thieves.
Harley’s Ed Krawiec is 2011 NHRA Pro Stock Motorcycle Champ
Mon, 14 Nov 2011Harley-Davidson Screamin’ Eagle/Vance & Hines rider Ed Krawiec is the 2011 NHRA Pro Stock Motorcycle world champion. Krawiec clinched the title with a second-round win at the Automobile Club of Southern California NHRA Finals at Auto Club Raceway that eliminated Lucas Oil Buell rider Hector Arana Jr., the only rider in the field with a chance to overtake Krawiec for the championship. Krawiec advanced to the final round and lost to his Harley-Davidson Screamin’ Eagle/Vance & Hines teammate Andrew Hines, who finished the season third in points.
