This 2013 SFV650 Gladius has a 90 degree V-Twin double overhead cam engine. It is liquid cooled, has a chain drive, 6 speed transmission, and a compact open trellis frame. The bike is pretty much stock except for the exhaust slip on. This is a great handling machine and has been flagged as being one of the most capable bikes in it's class. The SV series bike from Suzuki has had a very large following and it has been around for close to 20 years.
Since I took pictures of this bike I have replaced both tires. (could have used a rear only but thought it would be nice to offer up brand new tires both front and rear) Please note that the speedometer glass has a few scratches on it most likely from a key ring with a few keys on it. Also, the exhaust has some discoloring on the header. The two items mentioned are both pictured as not no mislead or misrepresent the bike in any way. Schwantz, Tsujimoto Team Up For Yoshimura Legends Team At 2014 Suzuka 8-Hour
Sat, 01 Mar 2014Former 500cc World Champion, Kevin Schwantz, will pair with former Japanese Champion, Satoshi Tsujimoto, in this year’s Suzuka 8-Hour race. The duo originally tackled Suzuka together in 1986, ultimately coming in third position. Now the two are back in celebration of Yoshimura’s 60th anniversary, as part of the company’s “Legend Team.” Yoshimura will also field a second entry with former Australian Champion Josh Waters and All Japan Superbike rider Takuya Tsuda.
Isle of Man TT 2014: Monster Supersport TT 1 Results
Mon, 02 Jun 2014Gary Johnson narrowly beat out Bruce Anstey to take the first of two Supersport races at the 2014 Isle of Man TT. Riding the Daytona 675, Johnson’s win was the first for Triumph since 2003, ironically, with Anstey taking the victory that year in the Junior 600cc class. The race started three hours behind schedule due to fog, but once it began it quickly became a duel between Johnson and Anstey.
2014 AMA Supercross – Seattle Results
Mon, 14 Apr 2014Ryan Villopoto won his fifth race of the season while James Stewart took second place to just barely remain in contention for the 2014 AMA Supercross title. Meanwhile it was a bitter-sweet podium for third-place finisher KTM‘s Ryan Dungey who was officially mathematically eliminated from title contention. Racing in his home town of Seattle, Wash., Villopoto led every lap en route to an easy win, his fifth of the season.
