Basic specs:

A 645cc, DOHC, 90-degree V-Twin that made 71.7 hp at 9250 rpm and 46.2 ft.-lb. of torque at 7250, good enough to propel this 426-lb. (with its 4.4-gal. tank filled to the brim) roadster to an 11.93-sec., 111-mph quarter-mile and a top speed of 129 mph.

The Suzuki SV650's liquid-cooled DOHC unit is so smooth and eager it makes most European V-twins seem crude and impotent.  The Suzuki SV650 is flexible and predictable, has a thrilling zest for revs and yet is completely reliable, too. What’s more, the gear change is typically Suzuki slick and the clutch is light and easy. The SV650 has an all-round great engine.

The bike is described to the best of my ability. If you have any questions please ask before bidding.

Suzuki Unveils New Bandit 650 Range

Sat, 08 Nov 2008

In our ongoing coverage of everything worth covering and talking about and beating to death that happened at EICMA, Suzuki unveiled a new Bandit 650 range in Milan earlier this week. Both the 650 and 650SA models received styling and practical updates that bring a new sharp and dynamic look to the 2009 middleweight class. With new edgy styling, the naked Bandit 650 is headlined by sleeker modern headlights, and newly styled mirrors that make it resemble an angry bunny rabbit.

The new facility, slated to open 2014, will produce models specifically for India, whose two-wheeled market scooped 13 million units in 2011 and likely more this year. Suzuki already has a facility in Gurgaon which opened in 2006, producing the Access and Swish scooters as well as the Sling Shot Plus and the GS150R (pictured above) motorcycles.
