Needs the following: handle bars, instrument cluster, clutch lever, right front foot peg. Has cracked rear plastics, dent in fuel tank ( If you could live with the cosmetics you don't have to replace them). New sealed battery a few months ago, Dynojet stage one jet kit and rebuilt carbs with all new parts (float needles, gaskets, etc.. done this past summer) New slip on exhaust and K&N filter also installed this year as well as new fork seals and Motul fifteen weight fork oil, new O-Ring chain, frame sliders and swingarm spools, and a Competition Werks fender eliminator kit. Seats were re-covered with marine grade naugahide. Cash deal only, please no texts or calls after 10pm. Its the standard version SV650, not the SV650S with the fairings. Volkswagen Buys 20 Percent Share in Suzuki

Months of rumors and a more credible report yesterday have culminated in the official news that Volkswagen will take a 20 percent share in Japanese automaker Suzuki, worth $2.5 billion. Volkswagen has its sights set on becoming the world’s largest automaker and with Suzuli’s small-car expertise, it hopes to make a large expansion into developing markets, like India. The news comes just a day after VW officially took a 49.9 percent stake in Porsche.

MotoGP to Standardize ECU Software in 2016 Season

MotoGP‘s Grand Prix Commission announced the series will adopt a standardized Engine Control Unit hardware and software programming for all entries starting with the 2016 season. At the moment, all teams are required to use a standard ECU hardware supplied by Magneti Marelli. Teams competing under the Factory option are allowed to use their own proprietary software programming while Open option participants must use standardized software.

Former AMA and World Superbike Champion Doug Polen has been named to the Motorcycle Hall of Fame class of 2011. “Any fan of motorcycle roadracing will remember Doug’s amazing – and dominating – championship runs on the AMA and World Superbike stages,” says Don Rosene, a member of the American Motorcycle Heritage Foundation Board of Directors. “At a time when the series saw plenty of fast competitors, Doug was clearly the fastest.
