Suzuki SFV650 GLADIUS description

Like new, 2013 Suzuki Gladius SFV650, famous for its acceleration, agility, and long term reliability.  154 miles on bike, brand new condition, garage kept.  Matte black tank and gloss black frame.  This is a great starter bike for both men and women.  This 2013 model benefits from Suzuki's 10-years of technology and improvements to the 645cc, fuel injects, DOHC, V-twin.  The powerful low and mid range torque can get a rider out trouble at city, as well as highway speeds.  Reliable transportation for daily commuters, weekend trippers, or those who want to just want to twist the wrist and open the throttle.  Included with this bike is a two brand new helmets, small and medium, and a large Joe Rocket riding jacket.  I will also throw in a tank bag for extra storage and a trickle charger to maintain the battery during non-riding weather.  There is absolutely nothing wrong with the bike, I bought it for my wife a couple years ago because she had an short lived interest in riding.

Suzuki to Join MotoGP Test at Catalunya

Tue, 26 Feb 2013

Suzuki plans to take part in the mid-June MotoGP test at Spain’s Catalunya circuit. If all goes according to plan, the June 17 test, which follows the sixth round of the 2013 MotoGP season, will mark the first time a Suzuki MotoGP bike has shared the track with the prototypes from rival manufacturers Ducati, Honda and Yamaha since 2011. When Suzuki announced its withdrawal from MotoGP racing in 2011, the Japanese manufacturer said it planned to return for the 2014 season.

Team Hammer Releases Martin Cardenas

Fri, 04 Jan 2013

AMA Pro Racing’s Team Hammer has released Martin Cardenas from his contract to allow the reigning AMA Daytona Sportbike Champion “to better pursue his goal of returning to World Championship competition as soon as possible.” Though the eventual goal appears to be for Cardenas to move up to the World Superbike Championship, rumors have Cardenas landing with the Yoshimura Suzuki factory team to race in the AMA Superbike Championship in 2013 as an eventual stepping stone towards international racing. Cardenas won the 2010 and 2012 AMA Daytona Sportbike championships with Team Hammer riding a Suzuki GSX-R600. Team Hammer held a contract option for Cardenas for the 2013 season but decided to release the Colombian racer, allowing him to take a different route towards a WSBK career.

Japan Needs Your Help

Thu, 17 Mar 2011

By now, we’ve all seen pictures and video of the devastation in Japan following the March 11 earthquake and the ensuing tsunamis. Japan, of course, has contributed much to motorcycling, with the Big Four of Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki and Yamaha, as well as tire manufacturer Bridgestone, helmet companies Arai and Shoei and many other motorcycle industry stalwarts all coming from the Land of the Rising Sun. Jon Bekefy and Greg Hatton, two motorcycle enthusiasts, industry employees  and above all, humanitarians, have set up a fundraising campaign benefiting the Red Cross for relief efforts in Japan.
