Suzuki Other description

One of a kind custom cafe racer. "The Black Widow" based on a low mileage (12,259) Suzuki GS 550. Runs and drives good. Jetted and tuned perfectly for straight through mufflers and pod filters. Pulls well all the way to the 9500 RPM redline. Both starters work. The charging system works. No leaks. Here are a a few of the modifications and new parts installed:Smoothed fuel tank with perfectly clean, rust free interior, with custom black paint sporting a red hourglass.Genuine black leather seat with spider web stitching100 LED tail/stop/ turn light in spider patternNew Emgo fairing with smoked Plexiglas windscreenRebuilt Carburetors and petcockNew wheel bearings and seals front and backNew steering stem bearings and sealsNew fork sealsNew tires, tubes, wheel liners with less than 200 mis, Matching Pirrelli brandNew batteryNew headlampNew clutch and springsNew cables, speedometer, tachometer, clutchFront caliper rebuiltNew stainless braided brake linesNew drive chainNew engine seals mounted when side covers were off for polishingInstalled all stainless cap head socket screws on side covers, controls, etc. (no more fighting with rusted Phillips heads)New handlebars. I've got way more time and money in this bike than I will ever get back,The only things left are: the red LED gear indicator light has 1 element out. The cylinder head nuts are somewhat rusty. 1 of the LED in the Stop light needs replacing, but I have some of those and will furnish. Actuating the front brake does not actuate the brake light. The rear does. I ignore spammers who ask "Is it still available" If ad is up, it is still available. I won't ship or deliver. No paypal, cash only, in person. Test rides only with valid MC license and cash in hand. $2500. Call before ten PM EST please. Texts ok.

2014 AMA Supercross – St. Louis Results

Mon, 31 Mar 2014

Don’t look now, but James Stewart is the hottest rider in the AMA Supercross Championship. The Yoshimura Suzuki rider won his third consecutive race and series-leading fifth victory of the season. But with Kawasaki‘s Ryan Villopoto holding a comfortable lead with four rounds remaining, Stewart’s hot streak may be too little too late.

FIM Updates Superbike Racing Homologation Lists for 2013

Tue, 19 Feb 2013

The International Motorcycling Federation (FIM) has released an updated list of motorcycles homologated for the 2013 Superbike, Supersport, and Superstock racing season. Notable additions include the new BMW S1000RR HP4, the MV Agusta F3 and the Superbike-spec Ducati 1199 Panigale R. To qualify a production-based racebike for FIM homologations, manufacturers have to meet certain production thresholds.

BSB 2012; Mystic Mac investigates

Tue, 03 Jan 2012

In my opinion, the smartest move in the BSB off season has to be Michael Laverty moving from Swan Yamaha to HM Plant Honda. With a ban on electronics for 2012, and in particular traction control, WFR's Graham Gowland has already proved to Laverty how competitive an EVO spec Fireblade can be - so I’m tipping both these riders to be bang on the money at the Brands Hatch season opener in April. Unlike BMW, Kawasaki and Yamaha, Honda have deliberately developed their road-going Superbike without electronics to give a user friendly feel with good mechanical traction, so it’ll be interesting to see how the opposition copes with their high-tech trickery stripped off.
