Suzuki Other description

2012 Vstrom Adventure dl1000 in excellent condition, never ridden in dirt or dropped.  She has dealer installed Lojack system. I wasn't very happy with the "adventure package", so I bought her GIVI Monokey luggage with a 125 litre cargo capacity (one key for all boxes), side boxes have givi LED lighted stop, turn and running light inserts. Rear brake light has programable LED bulbs for improved visibility from behind, definitely gets the tailgaters attention!  Hot Grip heated grips keep the fingers nice and warm on those long cold morning rides. A comfortable Corbin leather seat lets you ride for hours without a break. And she has a long distance 5.8 gallon tank. Have ridden her 250 miles between fill ups. Aircraft grade aluminum handlebar risers makes for an even more comfortable seating position. Alternate Rider engine/fairing guards (best choice $$), Hepco Becker center stand (best choice$$) A center stand's essential for oil changes and chain maintenance.  And did I mention that she has an extended transferable warranty that expires on 8/12/17.  How can you go wrong, all the works been done, she's ready, willing and able!   Come and get her!

Maybe the Evo class is the future for WSB?

Thu, 05 May 2011

Did we see the future of World Superbike racing last weekend at the BSB event? Possibly, but only if everyone is on Evo spec machines in 2012. By setting the 2nd fastest lap in race one and running second for a while in race two, the brilliant Alex Lowes proved that with a good grid position an Evo spec machine can be competitive for part race distance at least.

Suzuki Forecasts 9% Increase in North American Sales in 2011-2012 Fiscal Year

Thu, 23 Jun 2011

Suzuki Motor Corporation released its forecast for the fiscal year ending March 2012, predicting a 9.4% increase in worldwide motorcycle unit sales including a 9.0% increase in the North American market. The fiscal forecast, delayed from Suzuki’s previous quarterly report in May because of the uncertainty caused by the March 11 earthquake, paints a positive picture for the current fiscal year. Suzuki forecasts sales of about 55,000 units in North America, an increase from about 50,000 units sold the previous fiscal year.
