Suzuki Other description

2008 Suzuki B-King , I am selling my beloved B-King. It is an amazing bike, has jaw dropping power and is comfortable to ride long distance. It is a comfortable Hayabusa. Most of the 9320 miles are easy highway miles traveling up to Vermont and one trip to Nova Scotia. Includes a full Brock's Alien Head exhaust (with headers). Has a deep tone without being too loud. The low pipe helps get the center of gravity lower, which improves handling and makes it easier to push around the garage. Tuned with Woolrich Racing ECU Editor with a wideband O2 sensor to optimize air/fuel ratio at all RPMs and throttle position. I haven't had it dynoed but other bikes with these mods put down around 180 HP to the wheel (about 20 over stock). About 2000 miles on the Michelin Pilot Powers. Still a lot of life left in them. Size is 190/55 for improved handling over the stock 200/50 tire. Aftermarket Corbin seat, very comfortable for long distance riding. K&N air filter installed and air box has been modified to be less restrictive. Added tubing to make scoops functional and supply colder ram air to the air box. Renthal bars installed for a more natural hand position on the bars. Speedo healer installed to correct the speedometer error that comes with most bikes. Stebel Nautilus air horn is installed so people can actually hear the horn. I have the passenger pegs and seat installed (not shown in the pictures). This is a very powerful bike, not for new riders. Clean title in hand, asking $7800. No test/joy rides without cash in hand. $7,800.00 3392277732

2011 Isle of Man TT Recap

Fri, 10 Jun 2011

The Isle of Man TT usually provides a lot of drama, and this year’s event was no different. John McGuinness, second on the all-time TT wins list, added two more wins to his resume to win the Joey Dunlop Trophy while MotoCzysz once again fell just short of taking the bounty for being the first electric motorcycle team to record a 100 mph lap on the Mountain Course. The 2011 Isle of Man TT also had its share of tragedy with three racing fatalities.

Suzuka Eight Hour capers

Mon, 05 Sep 2011

Chatting to TT legend John McGuiness recently about his first Suzuka Eight Hour experience got me thinking of a few capers the boys and me managed a few years back at what is still Japan's most important race of the season. It is a unique event that starts at 11am and finishes at 7pm making  it a pukka endurance race as the last hour is run with headlights on in the dark. It is essentially an eight hour sprint that showcases the trickest endurance machinery and manufacturer’s sales can be affected the following year depending on who wins or loses.

Isle of Man TT 2012: Sidecar TT Race 1 Results

Mon, 04 Jun 2012

Dave Molyneux won his 15th career Isle of Man TT race with a victory in the first Sure Sidecar TT race of the 2012 festival. The win comes in Molyneux’s return to the Isle of Man TT after sitting out last year’s competition. By far the most successful Sidecar racer in TT history Molyneux is third overall among riders in any class, behind Joey Dunlop (26) and John McGuinness (18).
