For sale is my 1979 PE250. Moved to a new house and need room. Bike runs great and fast. All gears shift smoothly, brakes work as they should. Warm it up for a couple minutes (I always mix rich - easier to replace a plug than a piston) and it's ready to ride. Nothing like the power-band of a two stroke.
Great bike, every nut and bolt has been worked on, frame has been powder coated, new tires, handle bars, plastics, kill switch, carburator, etc.. Headlight (high/low) and tail light work, brake light disconnected. The swingarm and related parts were powder coated aluminum color, I thought it looked cool. Not showroom, small tear in right side of the (new) seat, hubs were not repainted, has a crack in the headlight dimmer switch, has one partial broken fin on rear of head, mile counter not available, used kickstand has been repaired and missing left side under tank holder (right side in place secures the tank fine), check out all in photo's. A lot more money went into this bike than I am asking for but, I have enjoyed restoring and riding the bike. Sold as is and I think the pictures show a full representation. Hayes Wins 2012 AMA Superbike Championship with Record 14th Win

The win in the second race of the Miami round was the 31st of Hayes’ career. It followed a rare misstep in Race One which saw Hayes crashing after clipping a curb on the third lap.

Mon, 05 May 2014Ryan Villopoto capped off his fourth-consecutive AMA Supercross championship with an impressive victory at the season finale at Sam Boyd Stadium in Las Vegas. The Monster Energy Kawasaki rider clinched the title at last week’s New Jersey round so he didn’t have to prove anything in Vegas. But he did, leading all 20 laps and winning by nearly 14 seconds.
