Runs like a new bike!

Bike is in very good used condition and runs amazing for a 46 year old bike. I purchased this little time machine from the husband of the 60 year old female owner who purchased the bike in 1976 with 200 miles. Bike has never been abused, always maintained and only used for on road town use since i purchased the bike. I completely went threw the bike installed new sprockets, chain, cleaned/rebuilt carb, tuned for pod filter, cleaned exhaust, replaced tires, wheel bearings, clutch cable and flushed all coolants. Seat is not torn and is like new. The bike is in pretty good shape for 46 years old and is only in need of a minor cosmetic resto. Bike has NEVER been damaged or dropped in 46 years!! Original grips, bars are not bent everything is straight. Tank has zero rust at all and like new inside. Since owning the bike ive personally put 600 miles of adventure ridding in the eastern Iowa, Wisconsin and, Illinois area. Bike runs flawless is fast tight and a blast to ride!! The only issues in the 600 miles is when inspecting the bike i put a hair line crack in a oil line from oil pump. This leaks a tiny bit of fluid but not much. Other then that 6oo miles on and off road flawless like a new bike. Many many people were impressed with its ability to keep up with much newer bikes. Everyone give this one a thumbs up!!

Bike pulls strong and is turn key ready to ride!!!

FUN FUN FUN!!!

Bike can be viewed in Zwingle IA. WILL SHIP ANYPLACE AT BUYERS EXPENSE! SOLD AS IS. PAYMENTS IN CASH OR MONEY ORDER/CASHIERS CHECK.

K-Tech release 25SSK for Big Piston Forks

Mon, 21 May 2012

K-Tech have released their popular 25SSK front fork open cartridge system to fit all Showa Big Piston Forks. Here's what K-Tech have to say about them: These lightweight aluminium units are supplied to the same exacting specification as all other 25SSK fitments with 14mm piston rods and a 25mm cartridge tube, the 14mm piston rods displace a large volume of oil through the 25mm control pistons giving enhanced damping characteristics over the standard Big Piston Fork and allow a bigger volume of air for a more precise feel at the bottom of the fork travel. The cartridge kits have compression and rebound adjustment in both legs and are supplied with 1.5mm Flow Control Valves for a more accurate adjustment, all necessary hardware is supplied to convert the Big Piston Forks to take the cartridges but it is necessary to order the springs you require as these are not included, customer price for the 25SSK cartridges is £725.00 + VAT and are available for the following models:- Honda CBR1000RR 2012 Kawasaki ZX6-R 2009-2012 Kawasaki ZX10-R 2011-2012 Suzuki GSXR600 2011-2012 Suzuki GSXR1000 2009-2012 Contact K-Tech on: +44(0)1283 559007.

Suzuki Quitting Car Business in Canada by 2014

Wed, 27 Mar 2013

When American Suzuki announced it was filing for Chapter 11 and dropping out of the U.S. automobile market last November, its counterparts in Canada said it would continue to sell cars for that market. It now appears that will only last for one more year, as Suzuki Canada announced it would also stop selling cars following the 2014 model year to focus on its powersports operations.
