Suzuki Other description

Attention vintage motorcycle collectors, here ia a 1972 Suzuki GT380 two stroke project with 12,476 actual miles! the only one for sale on ebay, bike has been inside storage for several years, motor kicks over with good compression, the title for the bike does not match the vin on the frame of the bike and the engine number looks like it has been sanded off at one time,i asked the party who sold me the bike about that and he said he never had a problem with it he has owned it for twenty years and rode the bike the way it is,the title is in his name, and the address on the title is also the same address where I purchased the bike from,I asked the seller if he had another Suzuki GT380 he might have confused the two with he said no and hes a very nice man who is 85 years of age and he seemed to be honest with me,he also mentioned one of the pistons has a hole in it he took the heads off the motor and finger tightened the head bolts back on the motor, throttle is free, brakes work, tank looks new inside, clutch lever pulls in,tranni shifts, the carbs might need cleaning before the bike will run, might be a nut or bolt missing and or other everything I have for the bike is in the pictures, mirrors and side panels are also missing, might be some rust here and there on the bike also, selling as is,buyer will have to pay for shipping and locate there own shipper if one is needed I'm not sure there prices I have met with them several times usually uship.com,i can store the bike for one week after the auction ends, sorry no longer, auction may end early because I might sell the bike before the auction ends, paypal or Walmart wire transfer accepted as payment if your not local,Thanks for looking and good luck bidding,im located in Minnesota, the bike is in storage and the zip code is 55304,Im always looking to buy old and or unwanted motorcycles and snowmobiles Thanks Carl.

1974: Onboard an MV racer with Phil Read

Fri, 19 Feb 2010

ANOTHER CRACKING BIT of vintage racing footage, this time featuring multiple motorcycle world champion Phil Read on the awesome-sounding MV Agusta 500-4.The footage is from the 1974 movie 'The Iron Horse' made by Frenchman Pierre-William Glenn.Read’s 1974 500cc World Championship victory was the last year a four-stroke won the world title before the advent of the MotoGP class in 2002. Giacomo Agostini won the crown from Yamaha in 1975, followed by Suzuki-mounted Barry Sheene in '76 and '77. The footage is bloody good, considering the camera technology of the day.

Knee-high land-speed record device

Wed, 28 Jul 2010

This mad looking motorcycle is a land speed record device that never turned a wheel in anger. It was built by the infamous Dave Manning in 1968 using a discarded drop tank from a Korean fighter plane. Manning built a space-frame chassis inside the tiny teardrop and also managed to find room for a Suzuki T500 twin cylinder two-stroke motor.

2013 AMA Supercross Houston Race Report

Mon, 08 Apr 2013

Ryan Villopoto captured his fifth-consecutive AMA Supercross win and sixth in seven rounds with a victory in the main event at Reliant Stadium in Houston, Texas. The Monster Energy Kawasaki rider passed holeshot-taker Mike Alessi on the opening lap and led the rest of the way for the win. Alessi, riding the Motoconcepts Racing Suzuki RM-Z450, remained in the hunt for the first few laps but soon gave way to a group including Team Honda Muscle Milk’s Trey Canard, Red Bull KTM‘s Ryan Dungey and Yoshimura Suzuki’s James Stewart.
