Suzuki Hill-Billy was introduced for the 1965 range, a small 2-stroke trail machine with knobby treated tires, high handlebars, sport-type front fender, spring-loaded folding footpegs, quick change dual-drive sprockets, protecting plate under the engine. It is considered as a stable, comfortable and very good looking bike and became a success in the USA.
This thrill billy was put together as a project bike and it is missing an exhaust clamp and the gas tank paint needs some love. Yes its good honest people back in charge of the Derbyshire circuit so we saw summer sunshine for Friday’s free practice and also for WSB race two on Sunday. The circuit is better than ever with a new Esses section in place, and while the paddock remains unchanged, work has already started that will see gradual revamp over the year ahead.
Yoshimura Suzuki Signs Roger Hayden for 2014 AMA Superbike Championship
Wed, 29 Jan 2014Roger Hayden has signed on to race the 2014 AMA Superbike season for Yoshimura Suzuki, joining the returning Martin Cardenas and Chris Clark. Hayden spent the last few seasons with the Jordan Suzuki satellite team, finishing fourth overall in 2013 and third in 2012. The 2012 season also saw Hayden earn his only career AMA Superbike victory.
2011 AMA Pro Daytona Sportbike Champion Danny Eslick
Tue, 06 Sep 2011Danny Eslick won his second career AMA Daytona Sportbike Championship, adding another #1 plate to the one he won in 2009. The Geico Powersports RMR Suzuki GSX-R600 rider won three races this season and added another five podium finishes to win the title by a 275-256 margin over Monster Energy Graves Yamaha’s Josh Herrin. Eslick clinched the title after finishing sixth in the first race of the 2011 season finale at New Jersey Motorsports Park.
