Suzuki JR50 description

You are considering a awesome 1994 Suzuki JR50 mini dirt bike. This bike is in great condition showing some signs of its age. I recently purchased it locally from man who said he has had it since he was 4 years old. He did not have the title so I will give whoever buys it a bill of sale. The bike starts and runs but only wants to run if the choke is on completely. I have started and even rode it aroung the yard. It is an automatic so no clutch for you son to learn. It idled fast so in my opinion, rebuild the carb and everything should be ok. I am not a mechanic but it runs, just a minor issue with the carb. The bike is 22 years old. I'm sure with years of gas running through it, the carb is dirty.  I dressed the bike up and it really looks pretty good. The tires are descent. The rims have minor pitting. Some minor pitting on fork tubes at the top. The tank is nice and the frame seem to be in great shape as well. I wired bruised the rims and they cleaned up pretty good. The seat has a new seat cover. This bike is pretty small and they make training wheels for it. My 11 year old son is pictured with the bike to give a proportional view of its size. We have over 1900 positive references and are also paypal verified. I will offer a 14 day return policy for the bike for even more buyer confidence. I can partially disassemble the bike and box it up and ship. I'm thinking $99 should ship it anywhere isn the U.S. I don't make money on shipping. Any overages in shipping would be refunded. Local pickup is encouraged at no cost in Middletown Ohio. 45042. We are located 30 miles North of Cincinnati. 20 miles south of Dayton Ohio. Please ask any and all questions before buying. Due to the rash of non-payers, immediate payment is due at the end of auction. I will bill you separately if you want it shipped.

Hopkins Breaks Hand in Testing Crash – Yes, THAT Hand

Mon, 13 Feb 2012

Crescent Fixi Suzuki racer John Hopkins has broken a bone in his right hand during the first day of testing at Australia’s Phillip Island circuit. The injury was to the same hand Hopkins injured last season that eventually led to the amputation of the tip of his ring finger. Hopkins high-sided entering a corner riding a 2011-spec Suzuki GSX-R1000 (the 2012 superbike was not yet ready).

New Delhi Auto Expo 2012 – Motorcycle Manufacturers Draw Battle Lines for World’s Second Largest Market

Mon, 09 Jan 2012

In past years, the biennial Auto Expo in India slipped under the radar while the industry was focused more on shows such as EICMA in Italy and Intermot in Germany. But with India’s middle class starting to flex its financial muscle while other markets continue to struggle, the New Delhi show is becoming much more prominent, with major OEMs positioning themselves to claim a piece of the India’s 13 million vehicles-a-year market. We’ve already looked at India-produced Royal Enfield’s new Thunderbird 500 and Hero Moto’s hybrid scooter concept which debuted at the Auto Expo, and today we’ll look at what the major international OEMs presented.
