Suzuki Hayabusa description

2005 Suzuki Hayabusa with a RCC Stage II turbo! If you want the ultimately fast street bike this is it. The current configuration is capable of propelling you to speeds over 230 mph. This Stage II RCC kit is currently setup to produce around 300 HP and was tuned by legendary tuner and world land speed record crew chief Dave Owens. This bike also gets 50+ mpg under normal driving conditions! This bike is devilish fast and will accelerate faster than you can ever imagine!

The turbo combined with the ultra-rare 1999 copper/silver body work makes this bike really standout.

Lots of modifications including:

- Stage II RCC turbo kit (The raw kit cost $6500 alone)
Note: With race fuel and an intercooler you can get another 150+ HP out of this for a 450+ HP bike.

- Professional tune by the legendary Dave Owens
This bike was sent to the east coast for Dave Owens to setup and custom tune with proprietary air/fuel maps. Dave Owens is the crew chief who propelled the fastest Hayabusa to the world speed record in 2008.

- 1999 copper/silver body work
A very sought after color and if you were to purchase this from the Dealer it would be $3500. Only made this color combination in 1999. Gets lots of looks going down the road, especially from other Busa owners.

-Other Modifications include:
- Lightweight aluminum rear frame - very rare and saves about 11 lbs. from the back end of the bike.
- Swing arm extensions
- New dark smoke double bubble windscreen
- High heat coated exhaust turbo blow off and dump pipes
- Storage under hump – Tiger Racing
- New Michelins dual-compound front and back tires
- Mirror block offs with bar end mirrors

R&G announce cheaper engine case cover kits

Tue, 06 Sep 2011

R&G Racing has reacted to the rising cost of official motorcycle parts from manufacturers by creating money saving packages on its Engine Case Covers. As a reaction to the parts price rise, the crash protection leader has created a kit package on its Engine Case Covers (ECC) – offering an overall saving of more than 10% when compared to buying the items individually. The ECCs are designed to protect the engine cases and the inner workings of the motor in the event of a drop by acting as a sturdy ‘second skin’.By simply bolting over the original items, fitting the durable Engine Case Covers doesn’t require draining any engine fluids or replacing gaskets. Extensively developed in the ACU R&G Racing Suzuki GSX-R600 Trophy, as well as being tested and approved by the California Superbike School in the UK and USA, the covers can allow a bike to be ridden after a crash or prevent terminal engine damage from oil leaks or casing punctures.Protection benefits aside, financial savings for riders are evident by looking at official parts prices; to replace only the clutch cover on a Suzuki GSX-R1000K7 would cost £206 including a new gasket, but all three R&G Engine Case Covers for this bike cost only £143.
