Suzuki GT description

1972 Suzuki GT 750 that is in need of repair. I bought this bike several years ago along with a 1973 Suzuki GT 750 to get this bike. When we first got the bike several years ago I put new battery in it and cleaned the carbs somewhat and bottle fed the bike and it crank right up this has been several years ago the guy that I bought the bike from said it was his friends bike and that it was his driver before he let it sit for five years. To get this bike on the road it will need to be completely gone through. That being said it is all there and would be a great bike to restore. The 1972 Suzuki GT 750 is the one to have and will only go up in value, There are not a hole lot of the great GT's left. The front end is off a 1973 the 1972 bikes came with drum brakes I know where I can get a drum brake for around 500 dollars. I will say this  the bike has a cool factor just the way it is. I like the paint job and the seat on the bike it is 70's for sure and would be a good bike to go through and ride just the way it is. The last Gt 750 I  fully restored was 8 years ago and sold to a guy in New York for 10,500  you can look the bike up shawn davis bikes click on vintage bikes and it is the last bike. I have the carbs for the bike they where taken off the bike and where placed in a box to be cleaned. I did start some back to polish the engine cases I will finish this if the bike sells. I have four other GT I have been restoring for several years if this dose not sell I will make this one my drive. I would like to say I do have a lot of GT 750 parts and I mean a lot if someone is going to restore the bike I have a lot of parts to get you on you way. This bike will come with a  bill of sale I can not find the title for bike and can get one for around 250 bucks and it will take several weeks it is not a big deal any more. I do take trade in' sometime it depends on what the bike is. Please call me if you have any questions, I have had several people that like the bike for what it is and like the vintage look of the bike the way it is. Shawn Davis 423-956-3002

Isle of Man TT 2013: Monster Energy Supersport Race 2 Results

Wed, 05 Jun 2013

The Michael Dunlop Show continues with the 24-year-old Northern Irish racer winning his fourth race of the 2013 Isle of Man TT. His latest triumph was a victory in the second Monster Energy Supersport race, making Dunlop just the third rider to ever record four wins in a single TT week. Like his win in the Royal London 360 Superstock race, Dunlop ran most of the race in second place before setting a blazing final lap time for a come-from-behind win.

Team Hammer Releases Martin Cardenas

Fri, 04 Jan 2013

AMA Pro Racing’s Team Hammer has released Martin Cardenas from his contract to allow the reigning AMA Daytona Sportbike Champion “to better pursue his goal of returning to World Championship competition as soon as possible.” Though the eventual goal appears to be for Cardenas to move up to the World Superbike Championship, rumors have Cardenas landing with the Yoshimura Suzuki factory team to race in the AMA Superbike Championship in 2013 as an eventual stepping stone towards international racing. Cardenas won the 2010 and 2012 AMA Daytona Sportbike championships with Team Hammer riding a Suzuki GSX-R600. Team Hammer held a contract option for Cardenas for the 2013 season but decided to release the Colombian racer, allowing him to take a different route towards a WSBK career.

2014 Suzuki Burgman 125/200 Revealed; 200 Version Coming to US

Mon, 23 Sep 2013

The big news from Suzuki this past weekend was preview and release of specs for the new 2014 V-Strom 1000 in France at the 24 Hours of Le Mans race. Slightly overshadowed however was the official unveiling of two new Burgman scooters with 125cc and 200cc engines. European consumers have had the Burgman 200 and Burgman 125 (perennially one of the top selling scoots in Europe) for more than a decade now while here in North America, we’ve only have the larger Burgman 650 model.
