Suzuki GT 750 description

1972 Suzuki GT750 Cafe Racer
Also called a Kettle or LeMans
it is a triple cylinder 2 Stroke liquid cooled beast of a machine.
Runs and rides will need little work to be perfect.
Has a custom made fiberglass cafe hump seat built on original seat pan..
Custom drop bars with bar end mirrors.
Custom Cafe Bullet Fairing
shortened the rear fender and moved factory turn signals and brake light in closer.
Removed the bulky 3 to 4 exhaust and added lighter 3 to 3 expansion chambers.
one of the header bolt threads were bad need repaired so it leaks a little out of the right side exhaust header.
The engine left side cases have been repaired sometime in its 44 year life.
Still has the original front dual drum brakes.
Good tires. Will need a clutch eventually but still adjustment left.
Need little tuning to be perfect.
When I got this bike it was in really rough shape and after 3 years i finally got it close to the way I Imagined.
I do not know if the 44 year old oil injector works so i just mix gas and oil in a can and pour into the tank
Updated the carburetors to 1974 carbs and the air box does not fit so I run pod filters.
I still have the factory Air Box and Factory 3 into 4 exhaust that is included.
The starter was removed before I got the Bike so it is Kick Start only, but it is easily started on one or two kicks.
Only thing i was going to to to it was ad a set of rear set controls but I will leave that up to the buyer.
The 72 was the first year for a liquid cooled bike by any motorcycle manufacture.
they made gt750 from 72 to 75 and have are getting more and more rare.

Is This the New Suzuki V-Strom 650?

Wed, 01 Jun 2011

Suzuki has released a teaser for a new mid-sized adventure bike, likely an updated V-Strom. The teaser campaign, which can be seen at Suzuki’s official website, shows the image above, along with the words: “Time For Real Adventures” and “Middle-Class New Motorcycle”. These hints suggest the new model will be an updated V-Strom 650, likely using an engine similar to the one powering the Suzuki Gladius SFV650.

Intermot 2012: Updated Suzuki Burgman 650 Executive Introduced in Cologne

Wed, 03 Oct 2012

Suzuki introduced an updated Burgman 650 scooter at the 2012 Intermot show, refining the maxi-scooter’s styling and giving a boost in fuel economy. The 2013 Suzuki Burgman 650 is powered by a 638cc liquid-cooled parallel twin engine, the same powerplant used when the scooter first debuted in 2002. Though the engine is essentially the same, Suzuki claims the 2013 Burgman 650 uses 15% less fuel than the previous model due to a refined  transmission system and reduced losses from friction.
