Suzuki GSX-R description
Up for sale is a 2012 gsx-r 1000. I drive this bike every day to work and now have 7,800 miles on the bike. I realized I need a more comfortable bike like a sport touring bike to commute to work regularly. -Bike has new front and rear tires installed less than 1000 miles ago -recent valve adjustment, oil change, cleaned air filter, and new spark-plugs -power-commander 5 tuner -full headers, exhaust, and cat delete by yoshurima. . -rear license plate bracket replaced with a stealth but legal licence plate mount -smoked windscreen The bike has a Connecticut rebuilt title. The bike had no frame damage, only cosmetic, and was rebuilt last year. I purchased the bike from an auto auction site and the insurance company that originally salvaged the bike had priced all the body work at more than the value of the bike. Everything that has been replaced was with OEM Suzuki brand. This includes all new plastics which now have only 2-3 small scratches that are easy to buff out. I made a few mistakes when replacing the parts, such as the front brake calipers are from a 2011 gsxr-1000, so they aren't gold one of the front mirrors is from an 09 gsxr-1000. The website said they were exact match for all years, but it does look slightly different if you stare at it long enough. Since then, I have put approximately 5,000 miles on the bike. Bike is for sale locally and I reserve the right to end the auction at any time. |

Thu, 09 Sep 2010This remarkable shot of Eddie Lawson is taken by Rich Chenet.
