I'm selling my 2007 GSXR 1000. I bought the bike in September, 2015. It had 5,171 miles on it. When I bought the bike I put in a new battery and I installed a new windscreen, grips, bar ends, frame sliders, swingarm spools, reservoir caps, new front and rear tires (Michelins). I also had the fork seals replaced. Since then, I haven't had any trouble with the bike at all. The only reason I'm selling the bike is I'm retiring from riding. At least for the foreseeable future anyway. I've owned just about every kind of sport bike and this is the sweetest bike I've ever ridden. It has done about 100 laps at JenningsGP but I'm not a fast rider and I didn't abuse the bike. There are no defects on the bodywork that I can find but there is a star about the size of a BB on the headlight. I tried to take a picture but you can't see it. The prior owner left a small spot on the headlight where he tried to get some bug stuff off with a hairdryer but that won't show up in a picture either. The M4 exhaust on this bike sounds great. I just had the oil changed and the bike is ready to ride. Two keys, no owners manual. I think the bike has always been kept inside. I kept it in a storage unit. You can tell from the pictures that the bike is in great condition. If you have any questions, please call (don't text) me at 850-212-8864 and I'll be happy to try to answer them. Ben Spies Retires from Motorcycle Racing

Spies retires with a World Superbike title in his first and only season in the series, and three AMA Superbike Championships. “I want to thank everyone from racing organizations, factories, teams and all my fans for helping me and supporting me throughout my career,” says Spies.
Suzuki has prepared a touring version of the V-Strom, the 1050XT Tour
Fri, 11 Dec 2020Suzuki has expanded its lineup by simply adding three black-painted aluminum panniers to the older V-Strom. The resulting "V-Strom" package has acquired its own name: Suzuki V-Strom 1050XT Tour. The total volume of the top and both side cases is 112 liters.
WSBK 2013: Jerez Race Report
Mon, 21 Oct 2013Eugene Laverty did everything he could, scoring a pair of race wins but it was not enough as Tom Sykes rode smartly and conservatively at the season finale in Spain, securing his first ever World Superbike Championship. Sykes landed in Jerez with a 37-point lead over Laverty and a 38-point lead over Sylvain Guintoli. While Laverty battled Marco Melandri to win Race One, Sykes coasted comfortably in third for most of the race to score 16 points, enough to clinch the title.
