Suzuki GSX-R description

 

The bike runs fine and starts every time and was my daily driver for a few years.
In 2007, the bike was lowsided at 15 mph, suffered cosmetic damage to left fairing and front nose piece and was repaired.
In 2013, the bike was lowsided at 20 mph, suffered no damage except for a 1" scratch.


NADA's for between $3200 and $4200.

Full synthetic oil changes with Amsoil and then switched to Mobile 1 every 2000-3000 miles.

The bike is stock except for:

The bike has the following functional issues:
-Ignition switch needs to be replaced - bike was stolen and recovered with no damage except for broken ignition in 2009
-Start button sticks - damaged by a ratchet strap in transport in 2010

The bike has the following cosmetic issues:
-Small 1" scratch on right side
-Swingarm spool mount bent on left side
-Small dent in fuel tank
-Front fender has a small piece missing - Broken while moving bike around in garage
-Triple clamp broken where ignition switch should be

WSBK 2013: Portimao Race Report

Marco Melandri and Eugene Laverty split a pair of victories at Portugal’s Portimao circuit while Sylvain Guintoli took advantage of some misfortune to his championship rivals to increase his lead in the 2013 World Superbike Championship standings. Guintoli has been leading or sharing the lead in the championship since winning the first race of Round 1 in Australia, but amazingly continues to lead despite having just that single victory after six rounds. The Aprilia rider has accomplished this through his consistency (Guintoli leads all racers with nine podium finishes in 12 races) and ability to finish each race (he’s the only rider in the top seven without a DNF).

Suzuki Contributes to Philippines Typhoon Relief Efforts

Suzuki announced it will donate ¥7 million (US$70,013) in aid to help those in the Philippines affected by Typhoon Haiyan. Suzuki joins Honda and Yamaha which have both previously pledged aid to the Philippines. The latest numbers have raised the death toll to 3,951 people, with another 1,598 still unaccounted for, and another 4 million displaced from their homes.

Schwantz Headlines 2012 Isle of Man TT Parade Lap

Former 500cc World Champion Kevin Schwantz headlines a star-studded group of racers taking part in a parade lap during the 2012 Isle of Man TT. Schwantz leads the group of six racers, past and present, selected by helmet-maker Arai to take part in the parade lap of the Isle of Man’s Mountain Course. Schwantz has visited the Isle of Man before, but this will mark his first closed lap of the circuit.
