2003 Suzuki Gsx-R 600, This is a one of a kind GSXR 600 with very few miles (5, 739) and racing mods. Color scheme is Black/ Silver/Red (See Pictures Below). With only 5,739 original miles on it the bike is basically brand new!!!!! I only road it on campus and a few mountain rides/track days back in college. Its just been sitting there and I do not have time to ride it anymore so it needs a new home!!!! I replaced the brake lines and put in brand new racing lines as well as a brand new fuel tank and lines. I also put a fender eliminator kit on it as well as brought in the turn signals and replaced them with carbon fiber mounts to give it a clean look. Also included are 4 Helmets, 2 Racing Leather Jackets, Bike Chain for Security, 3 Pairs of Gloves, and Rear Molded Seat Cover with custom graphics. (Not pictured is a Joe Rocket all Black racing Jacket and an a Red Icon Helmet; Pick to be added soon). These extras alone are worth over a grand alone!!!! Anti clockwise Knockhill and riding in the North East with GP winners.
Wed, 06 Jun 2012I was both nervous and excited for my first ever reverse direction track day last week at Knockhill. From rushing downhill into the left hand off camber hairpin to sweeping up onto the start/finish, nothing bears any resemblance to riding round clockwise. I actually raced my 350LC in the opposite direction in 1982 but it still took a few laps to get my head round what essentially is a brand new track for Scotland.
Stoner Blows Away Competition on Final Day of MotoGP Sepang Test
Thu, 02 Feb 2012To be the man, you have to beat the man, and after the final day of MotoGP’s pre-season test in Malaysia, Repsol Honda‘s Casey Stoner continues to be the man. The reigning MotoGP World Champion didn’t let lingering soreness from the back problems that sidelined him for the first day of testing at Sepang slow him down. On just his second of 21 laps on the final day, Stoner set a blistering lap time of 1:59.607, besting second-fastest rider Jorge Lorenzo by 0.591 seconds.While there’s still some room for improvement to be found his Honda RC213V, Stoner will turn things over to the engineers and fly back home to Switzerland to his wife Adriana for the birth of their first child.
Mark Blackwell Recognized as AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame Legend
Wed, 08 May 2013American motocross pioneer, race team manager and motorcycle industry executive Mark Blackwell is getting another honor: being recognized as an AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame Legend. Blackwell, who was inducted to the Hall of Fame in 2000, will be feted alongside the 2013 induction class during AMA Legends Weekend, Oct. 18-19 at the Green Valley Ranch Resort, Spa and Casino in Las Vegas.
