1980 Suzuki Gs on 2040-motos
Suzuki GS tech info
Suzuki GS description
This is a 1980 Suzuki GS550E. It is in pretty good original condition. It will run, but it runs rough. I consider this to be a project bike, not road ready. It needs the carbs cleaned and a good tune up as well as a new fuel petcock and fuel lines, and tank cleaned at a minimum. The electrics all work fine including the electric start. The bike shifts good through the gears. The brakes work, but are a little sticky. The battery is good. The side covers are missing. This is a nice overall project and it comes with a clean and clear title. Thanks for looking! |

Suzuki Unveils New Bandit 650 Range
Sat, 08 Nov 2008In our ongoing coverage of everything worth covering and talking about and beating to death that happened at EICMA, Suzuki unveiled a new Bandit 650 range in Milan earlier this week. Both the 650 and 650SA models received styling and practical updates that bring a new sharp and dynamic look to the 2009 middleweight class. With new edgy styling, the naked Bandit 650 is headlined by sleeker modern headlights, and newly styled mirrors that make it resemble an angry bunny rabbit.
WSBK 2013: Laguna Seca Race Report
Mon, 30 Sep 2013Tom Sykes and Eugene Laverty each came away with a victory as the World Superbike Championship made its return to Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca. The first race featured two red flags, ironically caused by AMA Superbike regulars Danny Eslick and Roger Hayden, the two men with the most recent experience at the famed track. The second race was a much cleaner affair, with a dramatic finish, setting up the final two rounds of the championship.
Cresent Suzuki Team Entering WSBK; Several Other Shoes Still to Drop
Fri, 21 Oct 2011British Superbike racing team Crescent Suzuki announced it will enter the World Superbike Championship next year, but Suzuki racing fans are perhaps left with even more questions about the 2012 racing season. Crescent Suzuki will enter two riders on GSX-R1000 superbikes next season, but the team has not named its riders or described the level of support it will receive from Suzuki. This season, Crescent Suzuki fielded John Hopkins and Jon Kirkham with Hopkins falling short of winning the championship thanks to a photo finish on the season’s final race.
