Its 398 cc liquid-cooled, four-stroke engine provides strong low-rpm torque and crisp throttle response for any of these occasions. They key difference from the DR-Z400SM and the DR-Z400S is the inverted forks. Inverted front forks contribute to less unsprung weight and improved overall handling. Suzuki Reports Q1 2013-2014 Results
Thu, 01 Aug 2013Suzuki reported an 18.5% increase in net sales from its motorcycle business in its first quarter ended June 30, 2013. Suzuki reports sales of 70.5 billion yen (US$710.1 million) from its motorcycle business, an increase from 59.5 billion yen reported in the same quarter last year. Unfortunately, despite increasing revenue, Suzuki’s motorcycle operations still remains in the red, operating at a loss of 2.7 billion yen (US$27.2 million) compared to a loss of 3.5 billion yen in the first quarter last year.
Suzuki has prepared a touring version of the V-Strom, the 1050XT Tour
Fri, 11 Dec 2020Suzuki has expanded its lineup by simply adding three black-painted aluminum panniers to the older V-Strom. The resulting "V-Strom" package has acquired its own name: Suzuki V-Strom 1050XT Tour. The total volume of the top and both side cases is 112 liters.
2015 Suzuki RM-Z250 and RM85
Fri, 16 May 2014Along with the launch of the new RM-Z450, Suzuki announced the return of the RM-Z250 and RM85 for 2015. Both smaller motocrossers return unchanged, though the slightly larger RM85L variant was not announced for the new model year. The 2015 Suzuki RM-Z250 retains the same 249cc liquid-cooled Single as the 2014 model including the swappable EFI couplers for selecting richer or leaner fueling.
