I have a 2014 DRZ 400sm for sale. This has been the best bike ive owned by far. Im sad to see the bike go but i am moving and cant take it with me. My bike is all stock except for the graphics and the rear cargo rack. I am the first owner of this bike as i bought it brand new off the showroom floor. I have changed the oil first at 700miles and then changed it at 2k and 4k. I did buy extended warranty when i bought the bike, so i should be able to transfer that over when the bike sells. I also have two other DRZ400sm that i am trying to sell as well. If you would like to buy all three i can make a package deal for you. Are Motorcycles Safer With Antilock Brakes?
Tue, 30 Dec 2008A new report says riders with ABS-equipped bikes can dramatically reduce the chance of a fatal accident. The study compared fatality rates among riders on bikes that have antilock brakes, and it found that death rates were 38% lower on motorcycles equipped with the optional ABS systems compared to non-ABS bikes. In 2005-2006, the fatal crashes per 10,000 registered motorcycles without antilock brakes was 6.6.
2004-2013 Suzuki GSX-R Sportbikes Recalled for Master Cylinder Replacement
Wed, 16 Oct 2013Suzuki is recalling 2004-2013 GSX-R600 and GSX-R750 sportbikes as well as GSX-R1000 models from 2005-2013 because of a problem with their front brake master cylinders. As of publication, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has not officially announced any recalls because of the federal government work stoppage, but notices have been sent out to dealerships across the U.S. Meanwhile, the Australian Competition & Consumer Commission has posted a recall, and we expect to see further news to come from other markets.
Schwantz Headlines 2012 Isle of Man TT Parade Lap
Tue, 24 Apr 2012Former 500cc World Champion Kevin Schwantz headlines a star-studded group of racers taking part in a parade lap during the 2012 Isle of Man TT. Schwantz leads the group of six racers, past and present, selected by helmet-maker Arai to take part in the parade lap of the Isle of Man’s Mountain Course. Schwantz has visited the Isle of Man before, but this will mark his first closed lap of the circuit.
