Elena Myers to Ride Suzuki GSV-R MotoGP Bike at Indianapolis Motor Speedway

Elena Myers will ride demonstration laps of Indianapolis Motor Speedway on the Suzuki GSV-R. After a visit at the Rizla Suzuki garage during the 2010 U.S. Grand Prix at Laguna Seca, the 17-year-old Myers received an invitation to ride the GSV-R at the post-season test in Valencia, Spain.

Marco Melandri earned BMW its second ever World Superbike victory to move into second place in the championship standings behind Max Biaggi in the series’ only stop in the United States. Melandri won a red-flagged Race Two at Utah’s Miller Motorsports Park after finishing second to defending WSBK Champion Carlos Checa in Race One to give him 142.5 points on the season, tied with Kawasaki‘s Tom Sykes but behind Aprilia‘s Biaggi who leads the way with 160.5 points. Classic Clubs that will be located on Championship Row include the Vintage Japanese Motorcycle Club, Louisville Vintage Motorworks, Café Racer magazine and Bridgestone Motorcycle Club.
