Suzuki Cavalcade w/ Trailer!!
You are looking at a 1986 Suzuki Cavalcade LX Luxury Touring Bike that is in very good condition. The bike comes with a matching tent camper that you can pull behind it and go camping with. I have owned this bike since 1988, and bought it from the original owner in Tucson, AZ. It has been an excellent motorcycle, and is truly one of the best touring bikes that was ever produced. The bike is equipped with self-cancelling turn signals, automatic rear pneumatic leveling system, rear suspension load pre-tensioner, air-adjustable damping on the front shocks that could be refilled with a standard tire pump connection, electronic cruise control, radio and cassette deck with LCD station display, volume and station selection controls on the handlebars, adjustment knob for the headlight, adjustable passenger floorboards, fore to aft top case adjustment for passenger comfort, adjustable handlebars, adjustable windshield, a vanity mirror in truck (for the ladies!), Chrome, and lots of extra lights. The radio has an automatic volume control that raises and lowers the radio volume based on the speed of the motorcycle. The radio antenna could be unscrewed and lowered so as not to interfere with the positioning of the weather cover, which also comes with the bike. The bike also has two helmet locks that use the ignition key, and are located just below the top case and above the license plate. Soft,
form-fitted bags come with the bike for the side cases. The console features a
LCD display that has the gear position indicator as well as warnings for low
battery water and "kickstand down." The bike had a switch linked to
the kickstand that would kill the engine if the bike were put in gear with the
kickstand in the down position. There are vents near the ignition key that
allows air to be directed towards the driver's face and doors on both sides of
the fairing that can be opened to allow engine heat to be directed toward the
driver's legs. The passenger had controls to adjust the radio volume and
station selection. The passenger seat has a 3-way adjustable seat. The bike is
also equipped with cornering lights, coin-holder, leg wind deflectors,
driver/passenger intercom jacks, electrical accessory plug, and a CB
radio. The bike had new front and rear tires put on several years ago, as well as new front and rear brakes. The tires and brakes have less than 100 miles on them! A new battery was installed late last year! The trailer is a 1986 model, and was purchase new when the bike was bought. The trailer is in good condition on the inside because it has seen very little use. The outside of the trailer does need a little TLC from sitting so many years. The rims have surface rust on them, and the tires are original and need to be replaced. The trailer sat outside most of the time, so there are some small cracks in the top fiberglass due to UV exposure. The material for the camper and awning are in great condition with no tears, holes, or rot of any kind. the front of the camper does have a place to secure a cooler on the tongue of the trailer while you are traveling. If you've always wanted to own a Luxury Touring bike and trailer, but could not afford the $30K-40K to buy one, here is your chance to own a nice used set for a fraction of the cost. This bike was never abused or wrecked, and has spent most of it's life in the garage. I hate to get rid of it because I've had it for so long, but it's time for it to go to a new owner who can appreciate it! Feel free to message me if you have any questions! |
