I replaced the seat with a much more comfortable Mustang brand (cost $450) which provides back support for the driver and extra padding for the passenger. The 950 is nice but if you want power to spare step up to this 1300.
The best part of this bike is the weight – it’s now 82lbs. lighter than stock. It handles better, stops quicker and has better acceleration than a stock SR500.
BRAKES – Front: Ducati Monster Brembo 4 pot caliper; FZR600 Front Rotor, and new pads. Rear: Drilled OEM Rotor and new brake line (line & banjos); and new pads. EXHAUST – Stock header pipe mated to an Aluminum SuperTrapp, which hangs from what used to be the right rear passenger peg mount.
